Book Study Series: “What Happened To You” pt. 2

Listen Later

Today is the second episode in our “Book Study Series.” We are continuing our discussion of “What Happened to You: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing” by Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey.

In this book study episode, Lauren discusses narcissism and how changes in our societal belief systems have made us more narcissistic, more distracted, and less present in our lives. This leads to less grace for our kids and others and more stress.

Lauren answers this week’s listener question during the episode: How does child stress compare to adult stress?
