Episode 33 – The Hooker and the Hermit by L.H. Cosway, Penny Reid

September is for Trophy Season… and kicking off our season is rugby player Ronan Fitzpatrick, a first-round draft pick with questionable PR skills and exceptional boyfriend potential.

Let's take a look at the scouting report:

Position: Hooker
Star Move: Falls first... and falls hard
 Signature Trait: Dirty talking

When a notoriously grumpy rugby player is forced to repair his public image, the last thing he expects is to fall for the brilliant, introverted woman managing his comeback. Throw in a secret identity and some sizzling chemistry, and Ronan quickly discovers that rebuilding his reputation may be easier than protecting his heart.

Episode 31 – Enigma by RuNyx

Welcome to Mortimer University, where everyone seems to be hiding something, secret societies operate in the shadows, and a forensic science student is determined to uncover the truth behind her sister's murder.

Salem arrives at Mortimer with questions no one wants answered and quickly finds herself tangled in a web of hidden agendas, dangerous secrets, and a rival who seems just as determined to get in her way as he is to help. The deeper she digs, the harder it becomes to separate fact from fiction... and enemy from ally.

Enigma is Dark Academia at its most addictive: murder mysteries, secret societies, academic obsession, and rivals-to-lovers tension wrapped in an atmosphere thick with secrets.

Episode 30 – On Wings of Blood by Briar Boleyn

Welcome to Bloodwing Academy, where vampires rule the halls, survival is part of the curriculum, and a fiery fae warrior has to learn an entirely new world before it kills her.

Medra wakes in a strange land ruled by vampires and quickly realizes that staying alive means learning far more than just the politics of this unfamiliar world. She has classes to pass, enemies to navigate, and a dangerously magnetic vampire named Blake who seems determined to make her life even more complicated.

On Wings of Blood is the perfect collision of Dark Academia and Romantasy: deadly school politics, enemies-to-lovers tension, vampires, dragons, and enough danger to make every lesson feel like a survival test. Honestly, with vampires and dragons in the same book... what’s not to love?

Episode 29 – Nocticadia by Keri Lake

Welcome to Dracadia University, where an ambitious medical student becomes entangled with a brilliant, reclusive pathology professor while investigating a mystery far darker than anything found in a textbook.

Lilia is determined to prove herself at one of the country’s most prestigious universities, but Dracadia has secrets buried beneath its polished halls. As she digs deeper into a disturbing mystery, she finds herself drawn to Professor Devryck Bramwell—a brilliant, brooding man with secrets of his own and absolutely no business becoming obsessed with one of his students.

Nocticadia is Dark Academia at its most delicious: gothic atmosphere, dangerous curiosity, forbidden romance, and enough obsession to make good judgment feel wildly overrated.
