We took the train from Euston Station to Holyhead, Wales—choosing rolling hills, seaside views, and friendly fellow travelers over a quick flight. After a few mix-ups (because what’s a trip without a little chaos?), we hopped on the ferry bound for Dublin. That’s when the real adventure began—taxis, buses, and heatwaves. Our final day in London was nothing short of iconic! From the awe of Westminster Abbey, to the secrets of the Churchill War Rooms, to standing beneath the timeless beauty of Big Ben — we soaked in every last moment.  Join us as we say So Long, London!

Day 3 in London was packed with culture, charm, and a bit of chaos! Join us as we explore the British Museum (and try not to get lost), discover hidden gems like the Museum Tavern, go shopping and then hop on the Uber Boat for a breezy ride along the Thames. From ancient artifacts to impulse buys, and ending the day with riverfront views, this episode is a little bit history, a little bit retail therapy, and a whole lot of fun.

Day two started strong—with orange eggs at breakfast (seriously, why are they so orange?), followed by conquering the Tower of London. We braved lines that wrapped around the fortress, explored the Crown Jewels, and tested our stamina climbing the White Tower (spoiler: the stairs won). From there, we walked across to and through Tower Bridge. The day ended with dinner in a former church, icons and crucifix still there!

From a Friday the 13th departure filled with bad omens (yes, there was a black cat) to 3:30 a.m. chicken dinners in the sky, we somehow survived London customs, the Tube, and a heatwave. We powered through jet lag with a Buckingham Palace “quick walk” that wasn’t quick at all, got lost in London’s posh neighborhoods, and ended the day with the best meal of the entire trip (sorry, Pizza Palace).
