This week we conclude our Black History Month series in conversation with international textile artist Robert Earl Paige.

This week we continue our Black History Month celebration with a profile of singer-songwriter Walt Richardson. Walt is a Tempe, Arizona based musician, educator and media personality who has made an indelible mark on the Phoenix area music scene. In addition to his own music, Walt has mentored many Arizona based musicians over the years, and hosts a popular open mic night at the Tempe Center for the Arts. If that's not enough, Walt also has hosted a TV version of his open mic night, and currently hosts a weekly national World music radio show called "My World of Music". Join us for this engaging conversation.

This week our guest is Richard Davis, son-in-law of the late Quincie Douglas, an African-American woman who established a transportation system for incapacitated individuals in Tucson, Arizona. Her organization, L.I.F.T.S. (Low Income Free Transportation Service), launched in 1965, was taken over by the City of Tucson in 1971 and is today known as Van Tran. Mrs. Douglas passed away in 1986 but her story and the work that she accomplished lives on in Tucson. The City of Tucson honored Mrs. Douglas by naming a library and recreation center after her.
