• Kohl's (KSS) - A play on upcoming earnings. The company will report quarterly results on Thursday before market open. Reminder: Kohl's was recently the target of a takeover approach but the talks with Franchise Group (FRG) were abandoned.
• XpresSpa (XSPA) - Shares were trending on communication platform Discord recently. On Monday, the company won a contract to expand the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) traveler-based SARS-CoV-2 genomic surveillance program in US airports.
• Genius Sports (GENI) - A niche way to play sports betting. Analysts at Needham commented favorably on the company Tuesday morning following Genius quarterly results. Needham believes Genius "plays a crucial role in the sports betting process facilitating the transfer of data from sports leagues to sports books and should benefit from the rising tide of sports betting globally."
• GigaMedia (GIGM) - Highlighted in one of Benzinga Pro's chat rooms as "getting pushed by a room." Shares closed up more than 40% on Monday and were up another 15% Tuesday morning despite no news.
