  • NAR Lawsuit Impacts Boomers Buying and Selling Real Estate

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has agreed to pay $418 million after reaching a settlement in a lawsuit where a federal jury ruled the organization had conspired to inflate commissions.

The settlement has resulted in "total confusion" across the real estate industry. The change that requires brokers to create a written document outlining all the services they will provide for buyers, as well as the cost of each service, will make "a clear difference," but that's the only upside.

The sellers will have to "make good with the buyers" in order to help boost the price and sales of their homes, even if it means coming out of their own pockets for the "myriad of things" that could arise." However, the confusion it has raised that is the real problem.

The ruling will not prompt home prices to come down, as sellers have "a one-time chance" to make profits on their house. The housing inventory shortage as the reason why "prices have gone up despite everybody singing the blues," with prices continuing to rise due to the imbalance in supply and demand dynamics.

The timing was right for me to become an independent broker. I am not subjected to the rules mandated by the National Association of Realtors. I offer an excellent plan. You can  . . .

Stash 30-40% more CASH, with closing success, no stress, plus sold quick, when you pick the “For Sale By Owner Advisor” to sell your Florida home. http://ContqctAgiNow.com

  • Why Behind the Boomer Bytes Podcast & Becoming a ProAger - Episode 3

It was time for change. I share my story how a fraudulent real estate sale lead to reinventing myself. I was NOT living my best life, I was depressed, insecure and confused with what to do next.

Going deep, confronting fear and praying for guidance brought the Boomer Byes Podcast to life. I did research about baby boomers, I spoke with family, friends and business associates and nearly 9 months later, I birthed the first episode of the Boomer Bytes Podcast.

Pro-aging can have psychological, behavioral, and biological health benefits, such as adopting healthier behaviors, feeling in control of aging, and a stronger immune system.

The Boomer Bytes Podcast is all about living our best life with a ProAge lifestyle that supports longevity and healthy aging.

We “Baby Boomers” born between 1943 and 1964 are known for our core values of  optimism, team orientation, personal gratification. We strive for health and wellness, personal growth, youthful attitude (I have a mouthful to say about the pressure of looking 4-Ever young) work, contribution, involvement and love of family.

We baby boomers are retiring, downsizing, reorganizing and prioritizing how we live our lives.

Many like me, have lost a parent, some both, have lost a long time spouse, (like I did), have remarried (I have), or not, are grandparents, some are now taking care of their own parents.

If you’re a sibling, child, grandchild or family member of a baby boomer and have intrigue and curiosity about the baby boomers, the second largest segment of the population, please join the conversation.

I’ll be sharing bytes of life with intriguing guests and a variety of topics including aging with grace, relationships, estate planning, home and lifestyle, healthy living and of course travel, now that we have time to discover and explore amazing places.

Are you a baby boomer? Are you living your best life with ease or struggling a bit with burdens that feel overwhelming? You can decide right now, to shift your mindset and adopt being a ProAge Boomer!

Are you a baby boomer? Are you living your best life with ease or struggling a bit with burdens that feel overwhelming?

    I don’t have the answers, but I believe it’s worth having a conversation 🌻

    Don't leave anything for later.

    Later, the coffee gets cold.

    Later, you lose interest.

Later, the day turns into night.

    Later, people grow up.

    Later, people grow old.

    Later, life goes by.

Later, you regret not doing something...

    When you had the chance.

Life is a fleeting dance, a delicate balance of moments that unfold before us, never to return in quite the same way again.

Regret is a bitter pill to swallow, a weight that bears down upon the soul with the burden of missed chances and unspoken words.

So, let us not leave anything for later. Let us seize the moments as they come, with hearts open and arms outstretched to embrace the possibilities that lie before us. For in the end, it is not the things we did that we regret, but the things we left undone, the words left unspoken, the dreams left unfulfilled.

       — Before the Coffee Gets Cold is a 2015 novel by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
