Hello there, I’m so glad you gave me a try!  I am a millennial who identifies as a boomer and this podcast is where I discuss cartoon series I grew up with and I compare it with what I grew up with as well as have an open discussion on my social media with others who want to reminisce about their glory days.  People in childhood are welcome as well in the discussion with experiences.

“So Long Spanky” is the show rendition of dealing with death and grief, just using a one off pet character to soften the blow I suppose.  Although, in hindsight, for many folks death is still something hard to swallow and grief is hard to go through, whether it’s a dead pet, loss of a relative or a friend.  But remember, you don’t have to carry on the burden alone.  If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts the hotline is 1-800-273-8255

In “Buster’s New Friend” Buster is hanging out with someone other than Arthur.  Which wouldn’t be such a bad thing if their science project grade wasn’t on the line.
