We pitched him our idea for Boomer & Gio Live: Schwartzy the Snowman. Peter agrees to the bit. Peter also told us there was an ‘edict’ that the sports updates should have more personalities. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Brian Daboll talking about Tommy DeVito getting the start against the Cowboys. Ryan Tannehill talked about being benched for Will Levis. Stephen A. Smith and Chris Russo scream over each other about Jim Harbaugh and Michigan. Paul Finebaum called Michigan ‘sleazy’. Mad Dog also argues with ‘alien Jerry’. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer is having text message issues with his iPhone.

Tonight’s game has no buzz around it as it’s the Panthers vs the Bears. The Giants are 16 ½ point underdogs in Dallas. Boomer thinks Tommy DeVito will make some good throws. Gio is wondering if there is any way possible for the Giants to win. Boomer doesn’t see a way for the Giants to win. The Cowboys beat them 40-0 with all of their players in their own building. Boomer wouldn’t bet on the game, but would take Dallas in a knockout pool. We went around to some of the upcoming NFL games this weekend. Gio thinks Jets/Raiders is going to be an intense game. The Raiders are throwing a rookie QB against the Jets defense. Jerry returns for his final update and starts with Tommy DeVito talking about getting the start in Dallas. Daniel Jones talked about the frustrating Giants season. Rob Saleh was asked if there’s a mandate from above to play Zach Wilson. Troy Aikman said Quinnen Williams said he’s the highest paid decoy in football. Gio can’t believe Gregg Popovich is still being a jerk to the media. ‘He hates everything about being alive’ according to Gio. Ian Eagle caught an errant pass from James Harden last night. David Stearns does not anticipate Pete Alonso being traded. The Moment of the Day involves Chris Russo talking to alien Jerry. In the final segment of the hour, Gio wonders when people are going to take down the political signs from the yards now that the election is over.

The 71 year old Ron Washington has been hired to be the manager of the Angels. Gio remembers when that time at the age of 57 that he was caught with cocaine and he said it was his first time.

What would the Giants need to give up to trade up to get Caleb Williams? Would need to deal picks and a great player. Maybe Saquon Barkley? Dexter Lawrence? Gio does not want any deal that involves dealing away Lawrence.

Mekhi Becton thinks something fishy is up with Ryan Tannehill helping out Will Levis but wouldn’t help Malik Willis.
