Hour 1

Needs somebody to be put on the bench for this, possibly fired. The excuse Boomer was given for these ‘loose ends’ is that the digital team works for multiple radio stations in multiple cities. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Hal Steinbrenner saying they are renovating the clubhouse and adding sleeping rooms. So it looks like all is fine with the Yankees. Bryce Harper hit 2 of the Phillies 6 home runs last night and stared down Braves shortstop Orlando Arcia. Rob Saleh talked about combating the ‘push tush’ this week. ‘Mike Francesa’ has some ideas on other names to call it. Daniel Jones said his MRI ‘wasn’t negative necessarily’. Whatever that means. Bryce Harper hit 2 more home runs last night and is a huge folk hero in Philadelphia right now. The Yankees weren’t involved in pursuing him at all because of the Giancarlo Stanton contract. The Yankees are looking at this past season as, look how good we did with all of the injuries. Then Hal Steinbrenner came out and pretty much said we upgraded the clubhouse for the players. The Phillies go up 2-1 in the series over the Braves thanks to 6 home runs, 2 of them from Bryce Harper. Boomer said the world would be a better place if it was like an NFL locker room. Adam and The Metal Hawks are in the studio to play a song as pre-sale kicks off for our Boomer & Gio Live Show in Long Island on December 15. Jerry returns for an update and has the Spanish play by play of Bryce Harper’s first HR last night (he hit 2). Justin Verlander dropped a lot of ‘F bombs’ after the Astros beat the Twins. The Broncos travel to KC tonight to face the Chiefs and Taylor Swift will supposedly be at the game. Jets WR Mecole Hardman was asked about a potential trade. Brian Daboll talked about playing in Buffalo but would not get into Daniel Jones’ neck situation. Mike McDaniel continues to sound like a crazy man when meeting the media. In the final segment of the hour, Evan and Tiki were talking about the Jets requesting payment for next year’s tickets by November.

The Jets sent season ticket renewals even though they normally wait until May. We took calls from season ticket holders, some of whom talked to the Jets about this. A caller also asked why Mecole Hardman isn’t getting any playing time. It doesn’t make sense. The Diamondbacks hit 4 homeruns in one inning and swept the Dodgers. The Astros will play the Rangers in an all Texas ALCS. Russell Wilson said he’s ready to go tonight in Kansas City.
