The Jets play the Patriots this weekend and Gio wonders if there’s a chance Zach Wilson gets benched for Tim Boyle. Boomer said it’s not an option unless Zach gets hurt. Gio said if we are calling this a must win game, and he isn’t getting it done, the Jets have to consider benching him. Zach gets himself in trouble when he breaks the pocket and throws on the run. Gio said Zach will not be the QB out of the bye week against the Giants. Boomer thinks he will get the next 2 games and then they will decide. Peter Schwartz is here for an update but first they talked about golf with a sick Jerry Recco yesterday. Brian Daboll would still not rule Saquon Barkley out for tomorrow night. Tom Brady was asked about QB’ing for the Jets. ‘Next question’ was the answer. Gio called Jim Gray ‘a little peckerhead’. Deion Sanders was also a guest with Tom Brady and Jim Gray. The Giants play the Niners tomorrow night and Saquon Barkley is not playing. Gio has heard that the Giants will win this game or they will be blown out. Nobody seems to think the Giants will lose a close game. The only way to beat the Niners is throwing the ball down the field. That is their only weak point. The Giants still have issues at Right Tackle with Evan Neal and that’s Nick Bosa’s spot. A Patriots fan was killed in a fight in the stands in the game against the Dolphins. Boomer said the NFL has a major problem with this. Gio thinks the fights were always happening, but we see them all now on social media. We took calls on reasons for violence in the stands at games.
