Boomer & Gio

C-Lo's got some quotes from Aaron Boone about the slumping Yanks. Boomer takes potshots at the intern. And we end with Moment of the Day.

LeBron is looking for a place to call home in the NBA. Where might that be? Who'd want him?

Yeah, we know that New York baseball is in a doldrum right now with the Mets in the dumper and Yankees lollipopping their way through games. Hey, we gotta talk about it and be pissed off.

Specifically, an old MNF Bengals-Steelers game with QB Boomer Esiason. It was an exciting game full of great plays which Boomer breaks down for Jerry and us.

C-Lo starts with the Yanks and they just don't look good at all. Boomer somewhat blames the players' attitudes. We touch on the Mets and whatever with them this year. Finally, England beats World Cup co-host Mexico and the Brits are happy.

Boomer's got some ideas about what the Mets should do to at least move forward for the future. Some of the remedies include trading players some might imagine untradeable.

C-Lo's here for his first update with everything you need to know about the World Cup leading into tonight's USA v. Belgium match. Then he shifts gears to the sad spectacle that is Mets & Yankees baseball.

Boomer went to the Norway match and had a great time of it. We also talked about Donald Trump calling President of FIFA and having him reverse a US players red card suspension.

Is the heat turning up on Aaron Boone? Evan and Morash give their take on just how much at risk Boone is to lose his job. Plus, Craig and Chris sound off on the team seemingly hitting rock bottom, Morash is officially hitting the panic button on the season, and Tommy Lugauer says the team's wave of injuries has seemingly caught up to them.

Steve Cohen did an extensive interview with the New York Post, and our hosts have A LOT of questions after listening to the owner speak. Boomer and Gio wonder how Cohen could feel concerned about the state of the farm system given the team's investment in that area, while Evan and Morash wrap their heads around the Francisco Lindor/Juan Soto drama that, according to Cohen, is confined to last year. How do we know that for sure? Plus, Craig Carton went off on Cohen and the state of the Mets organization.
