Hour 3:

Gio is being bombarded by one ad on Twitter. Jerry has seen another quite often and they google it together. Did Lady Gaga sell out? One WFAN prank caller is at it again. CLo returns and has sound from the British Open. Pete Alonso said he needs to make a meal out of a breadcrumb. Only, he didn’t say crumb. And what? Pete is out there. Jerry went to his first game of the season Wednesday night and loved how the pitch clock moved things along. Colin Cowherd doesn’t seem to know much about baseball. Jarred Kelenic broke his foot kicking a water cooler. Jerry says that trade wasn’t so bad after all and Gio agrees. In the final segment of the hour, Gio and Jerry remember Tony Bennett, who just passed away at the age of 96. Gio noticed that young men are bringing the mustache back.

There's a lot of talk about the Jets and much of the news regarding the Giants has been about the Saquon Barkley issue. However, are the Giants flying under the radar and repeat of last year (or better) is coming? Gio and Jerry discuss.

Hour 2:

The Giants are flying under the radar and Gio thinks it’s happening to the point that people are sleeping on them. Gio thinks the Giants were not a fluke last season and people counting them out are making a mistake. Jerry thinks it’s because they aren’t flashy. The schedule is tough. Gio thinks they absolutely have to beat the Commanders twice. Jerry says they have to survive the first 11 games with 7 of those on the road. Will the Commanders be completely rebranded under new ownership? Someone who works for a company Boomer mentioned the other day for the man buckets calls in and wants to get involved. “Themanbucket.com” was purchased while we were discussing it during Wednesday’s show. Are the Amish not as nice as people think? CLo returns for an update but first, Gio’s daughters put one of his nice polos on their dog, Elvis, while he was on the phone with Joe yesterday. The Mets lost to the White Sox. The Mets young radio broadcasters didn’t know the answer to a trivia question. .204 hitter Pete Alonso is proud of his “swing decisions”. How nice for him. In the final segment of the hour, Gio realized why his wife was adamant that they do a family photoshoot on the beach this summer. Gio witnessed an Instagram vs reality moment during the photoshoot. Gio’s daughter loves “Barbie Girl” and Gio can’t stand it.

Hour 1:

Jerry is happy for Boomer and wishes he didn’t miss yesterday’s Bengals Ring of Honor announcement. Jerry had a great trip to Citi Field Wednesday night. Gio says the Yankees missed the boat on wholesale changes last offseason. Now they’re stuck with too many bad contracts. They have no real way to get out of most of the bad deals and Gio says the Yankees brass is delusional. Jerry says they aren’t a World Series team even with Aaron Judge and need to make big changes. Shohei Ohtani might be available and the Yankees seem to be more focused on cutting payroll. Gio is worried about the future of both the Yankees and the Mets. What happened to Jeff McNeil? CLo is in for Jerry today and Gio thinks there should be a documentary about the WFAN store. What happened to it? A few major retailers have reached out to Gio about the man bucket. Companies want to get involved. The Mets lost their finale against the White Sox and couldn’t complete the sweep. Jose Quintana was ok in his debut. Tommy Pham left with an injury and Starling Marte is on the IL. The Yankees are back at home and will face the Royals. The Orioles took over sole possession of first place in the Al East by beating the Rays, who are 3-12 in their last 15 games. Aaron Rodgers looked good at the Jets first practice of camp. In the final segment of the hour, Gio found something Joe Benigno said yesterday afternoon interesting. Gio wanted to start a group text with Joe. Not a good idea. Just call him at home. Who still has a landline at home? Joe is not great with texting anyone back. Sean Winters is going to bring Joe to a Jets game.

Hour 1:

The Bengals Ring of Honor announcement will be made at 9am. If Boomer is not inducted then Gio will send a strongly written letter he has already written to the Bengals brass and season ticket holders. Boomer knows he will get in when the time is right. Jeff Hostetler is putting together a project involving Boomer and other QBs. Jets players are in camp and we’re excited. Will Mekhi Becton be traded like Denzel Mims was? CLo is in for Jerry today and can’t wait until 9am to find out if Boomer is going into the Bengals Ring of Honor this year. Carlos Rodon was knocked around by the Angels as the Yankees were swept. Rodon blew a fan a kiss after giving up a home run. Rodon and his wife understand what’s being asked of him. Is Sean Casey already regretting taking the hitting coach job? The Yankees are a mess. The Mets eat the White Sox again. Brett Baty homered for a second straight night and Justin Verlander gave up one run in eight innings. Denzel Mims is being traded to the Lions and Mekhi Becton is down 50 pounds. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer and Gio don’t think Carlos Rodon blowing a kiss was that bad. They do think many current Yankees are bad. Are players like Anthony Rizzo just done? 

Hour 2:

We will be at Jets camp on August 14th and Giants camp the next day. Gio wants to be on “Hard Knocks”. We are world famous, after all. Boomer shows Gio a prototype of a “man bucket” that Yeti is already working on. Denzel Mims is no longer a Jet. Gio can’t believe the Jets got something back for Mims but the Vikings couldn’t even get late picks for Dalvin Cook. A picture on Twitter yesterday makes us think the Jets are getting ready to unveil a throwback jersey. The Bengals and Browns went after each other…on Twitter. Gio loves the Vikings throwback jersey. CLo returns for an update and begins with the Yankees getting swept by the Angels. Carlos Rodon’s ERA is over 7 in 3 Yankees starts. Is there any chance Don Mattingly could be the next Yankees manager? Do the Yankees stink right now or suck right now? Is there a difference? The Mets won their third in a row. Jose Quintana will finally make his Mets debut today. Doc Gooden was with Shohei Ohtani recently. He tweeted a picture with eyes emoji and Sal had a chance to ask Doc about it on SNY. In the final segment of the hour, Oscar De La Hoya joins the guys in studio. A two-part documentary about his life and struggles premieres next week on HBO.

Hour 3:

Eddie thinks CBS Sports Network’s Stephen Waldron looks like Oscar De La Hoya. Gio doesn’t think so at all. In less than an hour we will know if Boomer is going into the Bengals Ring of Honor this year. Ken Rosenthal reported that the Yankees could look to “buy and sell” at the trade deadline in order to get under their current luxury tax tier. CLo returns and the three guys watch the British Open together. Gio wants to hear the old Bengals fight song. The Yankees did not play very well in Anaheim. Carlos Rodon struggled and blew a kiss to a heckling fan. Aaron Judge thinks it would be exciting to watch Shohei Ohtani break his single-season HR record. The Mets had a nice and tidy win. In the final segment of the hour, Gio tells Boomer about a story he heard Joe & Evan talk about. There’s poop in the water in Ibiza. 

Hour 4:

The Bengals announced that Boomer will be inducted into their Ring of Honor this September along with Chad Johnson. Boomer is very grateful to be honored by the Bengals. Spike thinks Gio is trying to steal Boomer’s moment. Yusef is here to congratulate Boomer. Gio wants to be in Cinci for the ceremony.
