We talked about the Rangers shutout loss in game 7 last night to the Devils. The Rangers season is over and Boomer said somebody has to pay the price. He said there was no ‘screw the Rangers button’. The Devils wanted it more and the Rangers showed little effort. They were shut out twice by a rookie goalie. Jerry is here for his first update and Boomer attacks the bridges and roads of NJ. He is bitter over the Rangers loss. Jerry has audio from Akira Shmid after the game and he gives credit to the whole team. Gerard Gallant also gave credit to the Devils saying they played a ‘real good hockey team’. The Yankees blew a great performance by Domingo German by losing to the Guardians 3-2 in the ninth. The Mets split a doubleheader with the Braves. Francisco Alvarez had the big hit in the game they won. The Knicks and Heat play game 2 at the Garden and we wonder if Jimmy Butler may rest with an injury tonight. James Harden had a huge game against the Celtics and won without Joel Embiid. In the final segment of the hour, what’s the future or Rangers Head Coach Gerard Gallant? Most fans seem to want him out. We took a call from a Devils fan who is tired of living in the shadow of the Rangers.

Hour 1:

Back after a huge weekend. The Rangers forced a game 7 with a win on Saturday night while we were at Booming Celebration. Aaron Rodgers was at the Rangers game and at the Knicks game yesterday. A signed Aaron Rodgers jersey was auctioned off Saturday night and went for $50,000! The Knicks couldn’t get it done in game 1 and Jalen Brunson took the blame although it wasn’t really his fault. Boomer appreciates when a star player does that. The Knicks wasted away home court advantage. Rangers/Devils game 7 is tonight at the Rock and we of course expect Akira Schmid in goal for the Devils. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Knicks/Heat including reaction by head coach Tom Thibodeau. Jimmy Butler talked about staying in the game with the rolled ankle. We have audio of Evan Roberts laughing in the face of Knicks fan Tommy Lugauer at MSG. We all agree that was a douche move by Evan. Steph Curry scored 50 as the Warriors advanced and will play the Lakers. The Yankees lost big time to the Rangers as Nestor Cortes gave up a grand slam in the first inning. The Mets were rained out all weekend and will have a doubleheader today against the Braves. The Panthers stunned the Bruins in OT and moved on. In the final segment of the hour, Gio wonders why the Knicks didn’t attack Jimmy Butler when they knew he was out there playing injured. Gio said Butler is a cockroach. You can’t kill him. Gio said Allen Lazard got no respect on the jumbotron sitting there with Aaron Rodgers. We wondered if he would be at The Rock tonight. 

Hour 2:

Video emerged of Travis Kelce on stage, slamming the Lombardi Trophy and this seems to bother Gio. Boomer said it had to be a replica and not the real thing. A caller is tired of Boomer & Gio talking bad about Newark. A caller said the Islanders gave the fans nothing on Friday night. Jerry returns for an update but first we talk about the trading card that has Boomer on it and ‘Don’t Drink’. Jerry has audio from the Knicks game 1 loss to the Heat at MSG. Steph Curry scored 50 as the Warriors advanced to play the Lakers. The Yankees ran into trouble in Texas as Nestor Cortes gave up a grand slam in the first inning. Jacob de Grom is hurt again, what a shocker. The Florida Panthers stunned the Bruins and eliminated them from the playoffs. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Booming Celebration on Saturday night. Gio went all in and wore the bolo tie, cowboy boots and cowboy hat. The Yankees are finding themselves in a situation where they’re dealing with injuries again. The only consistent Yankee so far is Gerrit Cole. Nothing ever seems to be different about the Yankees. 

Hour 3:

We have a huge game 7 tonight between the Rangers and Devils at the Rock. We talked about the adjustments the Rangers made to win game 6 to force a game 7. We expect Akira Schmid in goal tonight but Boomer said he will get pulled if he lets up a few goals. Gio had an awkward attempted fist bump with Bill O’Reilly at the Islanders game. Boomer got reports that Al had a meltdown waiting for his Uber after the event Saturday night. Jerry returns for an update and starts with sound from yesterday’s Knicks loss to the Heat at MSG. The Yankees had a rough weekend in Texas, losing yesterday 15-2. Nestor Cortes got in trouble early, walking a few and giving up a grand slam in the first. White Sox broadcaster Steve Stone had to apologize for saying pitcher Lance Lynn should eat some salad. Pirates’ rookie Drew Maggie had 2 hits on Saturday and was sent back down Sunday. Will Levis was finally drafted and ended up with the Tennessee Titans. We can laugh at other team’s QB situations as we have Aaron Rodgers and big money Daniel Jones. A caller that works in TV tells us how the Twin Tower footage ended up on the Knicks/Heat broadcast. Jerry returns for an update but first we talk about the flag football game we are playing in on Thursday. Tom Thibodeau talked about the way the game began and unfortunately how the Knicks finished. Steph Curry scored 50 and the Warriors advanced to play the Lakers. The Yankees got beat 15-2 yesterday and it started with Nestor Cortes giving up a grand slam in the first inning. The Panthers beat the Bruins so they have been eliminated from the playoffs. In the final segment of the hour, Gio is pumped after seeing a video the Jets put out about Aaron Rodgers. We also talked about the restaurant near us called, Maman. It’s French and they serve quiche.
