Hour 3

We talked about Anthony Gallo and how he thought he had something on his genitals but it was just freckles. Boomer wonders if it was a ‘tug burn’. We also talked more about the Knicks series against the Cavaliers. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks taking a 3-1 series lead over the Cavaliers with two wins over the weekend. Jerry also went around the NBA from yesterday’s playoff games. Dillon Brooks doesn’t know why people think he’s a villain and intended to hit LeBron James ‘in the nuts’. In the final segment of the hour, Gio thinks somebody is out to get CJ Stroud. His cognitive test scores were leaked and they were not good. Rich Cimini tweeted about the Jets draft and said the belief is the Jets will take Broderick Jones, the Tackle out of Georgia. We also talked about the best and worst Wonderlic scores for QBs.

Hour 2:

The Jets and Packers are reengaging in talks to send Aaron Rodgers to the Jets. Gio wonders if it will feel like a big deal when it actually happens as we’ve been assuming it’s happening for so long. Boomer says the Jets will be playing 5 prime time games and could be in a 6th prime time game if flexed in the final week. A number of Detroit Lions players have been suspended for gambling. Some of them even bet from the Lions facility. Gio doesn’t think it’s a big deal, but the callers seem to disagree. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sad sounds of the Cavaliers play-by-play team as the Knicks beat them twice this weekend. The Mets lost to the Giants, the second straight loss although they went 7-3 on the west coast trip. The Yankees lost a series to the Blue Jays. Boomer wonders if the Yankees can catch the Rays. The Islanders lost again and are one game from elimination. In the final segment of the hour, Morgan Wallen canceled his show at the last minute due to voice problems. There are rumors he was hammered and hanging out with multiple women which was the cause of the problems. A caller wonders if the Devils will start Schmid at goalie again tonight.

Hour 1:

There is a lot to recap with the local sports teams and we start with the Knicks winning Friday night and yesterday, taking a 3-1 series lead over the Cavaliers. Julius Randle did not play well the last two games. The Knicks fans don’t know how to react to this winning of playoff games. Boomer & Gio were impressed with RJ Barrett. Boomer is pumped for tonight’s Rangers/Devils game at the Garden. He was impressed by Devils’ goalie Akira Schmid. Jerry is here for his first update and we talked about how passionate the Knicks’ fanbase is based on their reaction to winning games in this series. Boomer doesn’t like that we are talking about Julius Randle not playing well instead of the Knicks winning. Jerry has sound from the Knicks win yesterday. Gio doesn’t understand why Boomer is suddenly defending Julius Randle when he had been going after him and wanted him off the team. Boomer said he’s a positive guy and wants to focus on the wins. Charles Barkley is disappointed that Randle wouldn’t talk to the media after a win. The Mets lost in San Francisco, their second straight loss. The Yankees lost their first series of the year, to the Blue Jays in the Bronx. The Tampa Rays have now hit HRs in their first 22 games so far. The Islanders lost and they are now a game away from elimination. Gerard Gallant said the Rangers were a little too ‘cute, cute’ in their loss to the Devils. In the final segment of the hour, we talked more about the Knicks series against the Cavaliers. Pete Davidson was involved with a minor altercation with a male fan who was getting a little handsy. Gio said the Knicks have odd celebrities at the game.

Hour 1:

Boomer was very impressed with the Rangers win over the Devils last night. He said it was very satisfying as everything seems to be working. Gio said you have to be super confident at this point that you’re moving on if you’re a Rangers fan. The Islanders have their first home playoff game at UBS tonight. Boomer said Spike came into his office to tell him the Knicks are done and will lose this series. Spike comes into the studio to defend himself, but it turns out, he did go into Boomer's office to say the Knicks are done. Gio has never seen Boomer more confident in his Rangers team than right now. Peter Schwartz is in for Jerry but first we talk about Earth Day and what’s your ‘one thing’. Peter is going to the Islanders game tonight using a press pass. Pete Alonso hit a HR in San Francisco in the Mets win. Max Scherzer got a 10 game suspension. The Yankees beat the Angels and Jose Trevino had a bases-clearing double early. The Rangers beat the Devils 5-1 and now lead the series 2-0. We also talked about Max Scherzer’s suspension for sticky stuff. Boomer has a theory on what Scherzer did to get the suspension. The alcohol and rosin is what caused the sticky stuff. In the final segment of the hour, Joel Embiid kicked Nic Claxton in the groin during last night’s Sixers/Nets game. He was not thrown out of the game, most likely because it was the first quarter of a playoff game. Later in the game, James Harden got thrown out for something far less egregious, trying to push off Royce O’Neale and making contact with the groin. This seemed to be a clear make up call from Embiid earlier. 

Hour 2:

Max Scherzer has been suspended 10 games by MLB. Boomer said the issue was he used alcohol to wash his hands and when you combine alcohol and rosin it becomes very sticky. Scherzer also thought he was done being checked, but he was checked a third time and that’s where the problem was. Scherzer’s tenure here has not been good. Gio is not impressed with what he’s seen so far. Peter returned for an update and we talked about his size. His combined height and weight. We also talked about his son who is a long snapper. The Rangers beat the Devils 5-1 and take a 2-0 series lead heading to MSG. Tom Brady was asked about the Dolphins and he gave a weird answer. In the final segment of the hour, there is a fake Gregg Giannotti on Facebook trying to get people to join some type of fake contest. It is not him and it has been reported. A caller thanks Boomer for a kind gesture he did for him 24 years ago today. 

Hour 3:

First it was Craig Carton and now it’s Tiki Barber saying there are rumblings of Aaron Rodgers going to the 49’ers. Boomer is sticking to what he’s been saying for months now, that Aaron Rodgers will be on the Jets. Peter returns for an update but fist Gio gives us an update on the dog he wanted to adopt. It went through and they got him, so everybody is happy. Gio wanted Peter to give us his Aaron Rodgers trade take that he had when he hosted overnights the other day. The Rangers beat the Devils again taking a commanding 2-0 series lead. The Mets beat the Giants in San Francisco to open up that series. Gio said the Giants fan base must be livid based on their offseason and start to the season. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls about movie spoilers and a James Dolan sighting at the Garden.

Hour 4:

Our Program Director Spike Eskin made AI generated pics of himself as a hot OnlyFans model. Tiki Barber is in the studio to talk about his Aaron Rodgers' take that the 49’ers are in the mix. He ultimately believes Rodgers will be on the Jets. We also talked about the various marathons he’s run. We also talked about Saquon Barkley and the Giants and how RBs just don’t make that kind of money anymore. Peter returns for an update and for some reason Gio and Peter Schwartz sing ‘Tomorrow’ from Annie. Peter doesn’t want to play kickball because he thinks he’s so good the ball will go too far. We also talked about NFL players not wearing cups. Boomer didn’t wear one and Tiki didn’t wear one. In the final segment of the week, we kick off the weekend with some feel good Friday calls about the playoff weekend for the locals.
