Meanwhile, Trey Wingo tweeted it’s a done deal and everyone has been talking about that. Boomer said everything has already been worked out, it's just not announced yet. All of the insiders are saying they aren’t sure yet, Boomer said he is sure. Boomer said Rodgers’ contract is very complicated, which is why it’s taking so long. But it is getting done. Jerry is here for an update but first we talk about how much March sucks. We then debate which is the worst month of the year and which is the best. Rich Eisen has no interest in Ryan Tannehill if the Rodgers signing doesn’t happen. Jerry goes around the NFL with all of the signings yesterday. Ja Morant checked into a counseling center after brandishing a gun in a strip club. Jerry has audio from a dust up in the Bucks/Kings game last night. Adam Schein had Gary Cohen on his radio show and totally kissed him. In the final segment of the hour, a radio host in Syracuse was fired for being too negative about Syracuse basketball. 

Hour 2:

Boomer is filling out a bracket and is taking Rick Pitino and Iona. Pitino is rumored for both St. Johns and Georgetown. Gio said John Franco has an amazing retired life. He follows him on social media and he goes on a bunch of vacations. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer updates us on Mike White’s deal with the Dolphins. Jason Kelce is returning for another season with the Eagles. Jerry goes around the NBA from last night and there was a scrum in the Bucks/Kings game. The first four of the NCAA tournament starts tonight as does the NIT. Buck Showalter talked about missing media guides. The Mets put 5 players on the cover of their media guide. Jerry has play by play from various World Baseball Classic games. Brandon Nimmo is more interested in winning a World Series than playing in the World Baseball Classic. In the final segment of the hour, we played audio of Ian Rapoport from this morning saying there is no deal with the Jets and Aaron Rodgers. Boomer said Rodgers’ contract is unique and complicated and takes some time to get through. Where else could he go?

During the break, Gio’s former partner and fellow CBS talk show host, Brian Jones, has been texting about Lamar Jackson’s contract. Boomer doesn’t know why people get ‘jacked up’ about Lamar Jackson and his contract. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer tells us March 18th is an NFL anniversary of something that sent shockwaves through the NFL: Deshaun Watson’s signing with the Cleveland Browns. Jerry said the salary cap is total crap. Breaking news from Adam Schefter, as WR Allen Lazard is said to be talking to the Jets about joining Aaron Rodgers. Jerry has audio of the Hugh Grant interview at the Oscars. People said he was rude to Ashley Graham. There was an 8 inning combined perfect game in the World Baseball Classic. In the final segment of the hour, CBS Sports Host Brian Jones calls in to argue about the Lamar Jackson situation in Baltimore.

Hour 1:

The NCAA tournament is set but Rutgers got screwed and did not make it. Boomer feels bad for the Rutgers players and Jerry Recco. Rick Pitino is rumored to be the next Head Coach at St. Johns. Georgetown and Texas Tech are also in the mix for Pitino. Boomer really wants Pitino at St. Johns. Jerry is here for his first update and Boomer wants to know if Jerry is mad that Rutgers was left out of the tournament. Jerry has audio of reporters asking Rick Pitino about the various coaching vacancies. Both the Knicks and the Nets won yesterday. Aaron Rodgers talked to Brandon Marshall and said it won’t be long as his decision has a time limit. Derek Carr met the media and said he’s not trying to be Drew Brees in New Orleans. Starling Marte got hit in the head with a fastball and Buck Showalter says ‘he might’ve gotten lucky’. The Penguins beat the Rangers 3-2 in OT. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Bears trading out of the number one spot in the draft. That now belongs to the Carolina Panthers. Who will be the first QB picked? It will be Bryce Young or CJ Stroud. Those are the types of QBs that Frank Reich likes according to Boomer. 

Hour 2:

If Aaron Rodgers doesn’t make a decision by 12pm today he is screwing both the Jets and the Packers. Boomer said they could already have a deal in place but keeping it very quiet. Rodgers’ contract has to be modified so it’s not so easy. What if Rodgers doesn’t want to play for the Packers or for the Jets? He holds all the cards right now. Boomer thinks the Jets know what the deal for Rodgers is already. Boomer remains uber confident that Rodgers to the Jets is 100% happening. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Aaron Rodgers talking to Brandon Marshall on where he would live if he became a Jet. Packers President Mark Murphy on a scenario where Rodgers is the Packers QB this year. The Knicks beat the Lakers last night, breaking their 3 game losing streak. We talked about the locals in the NCAA tournament, Rutgers was not one of them. They are going to the NIT. Brandon Nimmo said it’s a little bit weird not having some guys in Spring Training because of the World Baseball Classic. Jerry has audio from the college ump that made egregious strike calls that got him suspended. In the final segment of the hour, Gio finished watching the documentary on the Malaysian Airline that disappeared. 

Hour 3:

Hall of Fame WR Calvin Johnson will be in at 9am. The Oscars were last night and they talked about a documentary that won an award, and the guy in the documentary is still in solitary confinement in Russia. Meanwhile, his wife is all dolled up at the Oscars. It felt weird. We also talked about the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks beating the Lakers last night, stopping a three game skid. Boomer said there was a Jets representative at OBJ’s workout. The NCAA brackets were announced last night. Aaron Rodgers talked to Brandon Marshall and tried to get some answers out of him. Gio said Aaron Rodgers is morphing into Eddie Scozzare. Derek Carr is in New Orleans now and the first place he ate was Chipotle. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Calvin Johnson, Dan Campbell, and the way great coaches get the best out of their players. 

Hour 4:

Hall of Fame WR Calvin Johnson joins us in studio and he said he would have loved to have played with Aaron Rodgers. Gio rubbed some lotion on Boomer’s feet. Jerry returns for an update and talked about NFL player bonuses and how they get a giant fat check. Brandon Marshall asked Aaron Rodgers what it was like meeting with Woody Johnson. Do people still call Woody Johnson, Ambassador Woody? Jerry goes around the NBA for the locals, as both the Knicks and the Nets won. In the final segment of the show, we still do not have an answer as to what Aaron Rodgers is doing. Gio thinks Sauce Gardner will have the news before any of the insiders.
