Hour 4:

Tom Brady retired in the 8am hour and we talked about it again here. Is Brady screwing the Jets one more time by retiring, thus sending Aaron Rodgers to the Raiders instead of the Jets. We talked about other landing spots for Aaron Rodgers that could be competing with the Jets. Gio asks what Tom Brady’s greatest moment was. Gio is happy he got to see Tom Brady win a Super Bowl in person, even though it was an incredibly boring game. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and starts with the audio of Tom Brady announcing his retirement. Aaron Rodgers was on with Pat McAfee and talked about the Packers being in discussions about him, but without him. Gio said if you follow Boomer’s breadcrumbs, Derek Carr is going to Carolina with Frank Reich. Jeff McNeil of the Mets met the media to talk about his new contract. In the final segment of the hour, we talked to a listener who’s a professional pickleball player.

Hour 3:

Gio’s high school equipment manager has been the Eagles equipment manager for years now and is going to his third Super Bowl. Gio is thinking of joining a pickleball league. Gio said after this bike tour he’s doing with Boomer, he is no longer doing any cardio work except for walking. We got breaking news in the middle of this segment: Tom Brady is retiring. It came right from his mouth. We talked about the future of Greg Olsen. Gio said Moose Johnston stinks. C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked more about announcers. Gio said Tony Romo had no idea about the ‘Burrow-Head’ talk. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Tom Brady announcing his retirement this morning on video on his social media channels. A caller can’t believe Brady is going out with Todd Bowles as his coach. We thought Brady might go to the Raiders with Josh McDaniels, but now that he retired maybe Aaron Rodgers ends up there instead of the Jets.

Hour 2:

The Knicks lost to LeBron and the Lakers last night and Gio said they are a very frustrating team. What are the Knicks right now? Average. Gio said the Knicks are like a bad TV show that you watch because there’s nothing else on. C-Lo returns for another update and starts with the Lakers beating the Knicks behind a LeBron triple double. There were also a lot of references to the movie, Young Frankenstein. In the final segment of the hour, Gisele is going to talk to Vanity Fair about her divorce from Tom Brady. Jerry doesn’t expect anything controversial from Gisele. Gio does a Jim Gray impression. Gio saw the movie, ‘The Whale’ and thought it was ok. He liked ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’.

Hour 1:

Jerry is in for Boomer today. Gio and Jerry start with the coverage of Nathaniel Hackett and Aaron Rodgers’ love for the guy. Gio isn’t sure if Rodgers wants to play, if the compensation will be right or if the Packers really want to move on from him. Rodgers seems annoyed that the Packers are talking about trading him without including him in the discussions. Gio also said Aaron Rodgers would likely be re-energized coming to the Jets. What if Rodgers doesn’t come to the Jets? What if Derek Carr doesn’t come to the Jets? C-Lo is here for his first update of the day but first we talked about the big pretzel he got at WaWa before coming into work. He blames the Championship Weekend for feeling this way. Gio said twice this year he thought the officials wanted a team to win. C-Lo is in for Jerry today as Jerry is hosting. He starts with the Nets beating the Lakers. There was no KD, Ben Simmons, LeBron or Anthony Davis. Kyrie talked about LeBron still dominating. We also talked about LeBron’s flop over the weekend and James Harden trying to sneak on the floor from the bench. Brock Purdy has a torn UCL elbow ligament. Kellen Moore, let go by the Cowboys, heads to the Chargers as OC. Germaine Pratt apologizes for calling out Joseph Ossai. In the final segment of the hour, Micah Parsons wants the Eagles to win a Super Bowl for the division. Is Jerry the Cowboys fan happy about that?

Hour 2:

We talked about the Raiders ‘squatting’ on Derek Carr and how that could screw up the Jets plans with Aaron Rodgers going forward. Would the Raiders trade him to an AFC team? Jerry thinks they’re done with him and they won’t care where they trade him. Gio doesn’t think Rodgers would be comfortable on the East Coast with the Jets since he’s a West Coast guy. If Rodgers has the option of the Jets or the Raiders, Gio thinks he’s picking the Raiders. A caller said the Giants and Cowboys fans should root for the Eagles because they are in the division. Another caller calls in to call that caller a moron. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Nets beating the Lakers even though Kyrie was the only star that played. No LeBron, no Anthony Davis for the Lakers and no KD or Ben Simmons for the Nets. Jerry said Steph Curry is ruining the league by how good he is and how everybody tries to shoot like him. C-Lo plays audio of Pat Mahomes Sr saying he’s ‘smokin’ on a Joe Burrow’. Rex Ryan says what about Brady and Sean Payton to Washington. In the final segment of the hour, Jalen Hurts went to the Syracuse basketball game. Can you connect the dots to figure out why?

Hour 3:

Last night the Lakers played in Brooklyn but LeBron did not play. Neither did Anthony Davis. As you can imagine, many fans were disappointed, including a caller who paid $1500 per ticket for him and his kid to go. Load management is a huge problem in the NBA. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with LeBron taking a rest day and not playing in Brooklyn last night, to the dismay of fans who paid big bucks for tix. Travis Kelce hugged his dad after the game and he was mic’d up. MLB The Show will have Jazz Chisholm as their cover athlete. Justin Verlander won Most Valuable Pitcher but they spelled ‘valuable’ wrong on the plaque. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer’s stay at the Kansas City station rubbed some hosts there the wrong way.  

Hour 4:

Boomer was a guest at our stations in Kansas City on Monday and the local hosts were not happy with how their boss kissed Boomer’s butt. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Nets beating the Lakers without LeBron and Anthony Davis. Brock Purdy has a torn UCL in his elbow and will be out 6 months. In the final segment of the show, Gio tells a story of a fan who went to see Steph Curry play but he didn’t play that day. Curry sent the girl a huge box of Under Armor stuff. Players should only be able to take rest days at home, and not on the road where you disappoint fans the one time they get to see you.
