Hour 1:

It’s finally here, Super Wild Card Weekend. Boomer tried to talk about the NY Rangers but we shut his ass down. We talked about the Giants/Vikings and the coaching advantage the Giants have in this matchup. In the playoffs, historically, the Giants seem to find a way to get things done and the Vikings always seem to find a way to lose them. Jerry starts with Giants/Vikings and Daniel Jones talking about preparation and Saquon Barkley finally getting to the postseason. Darius Slayton loves him some Daniel Jones. Geno Smith talked about being in the postseason as he gets ready to face the Niners. Driving rains could be a factor in that game. Woody Johnson said he will spend money on a veteran QB. The Nets lost to the Celtics last night. And the Rangers beat the Stars in OT. In the final segment of the hour, if the Bills & Chiefs meet in the Championship game, it will be in Atlanta, in the dome. Gio loves the idea with the QBs most likely being able to go back and forth indoors. 

Hour 2:

Lamar Jackson is out again this week and Gio thinks he might not be playing because he doesn’t have anything guaranteed after this year. So if he plays and gets hurt, it will really hurt his contract offers in the offseason. Jerry returns for an update, but first Eddie the sports jockey won again last night. He also tweeted that he thinks Gio hates him. Jerry has audio from Boomer back in the day watching a Dolphins game because playoffs were on the line for his Bengals. Wink Martindale talked about playing old school football this weekend and Saquon talked about the difference between the playoffs and a regular game. The Bengals are the big dogs of the AFC according to them. Tom Brady had Roger Staubach and Steve Young on his podcast and they talked about playing longer than they did. In the final segment of the hour, Eddie the picks jockey calls in. He likes Kent State tonight.

Mike LaFleur is no longer the Offensive Coordinator of the NY Jets. Somebody had to pay the price for the terrible offense in the second half of the season. So, who will be the next Offensive Coordinator under Rob Saleh? We also talked about bringing Zach Wilson back, and if you do that, you have to get rid of Mike White and bring in a veteran instead. C-Lo is in for Jerry today. Boomer said if you look at all of the guys that got fired in the NFL, they all have one thing in common: a bad QB situation. Boomer thinks Sean McVay will step away from the Rams and maybe Sean Payton ends up there. Brian Daboll was asked if the Giants were playing with ‘house money’. Daniel Jones talked about having nerves before a big game. The Dolphins have ruled out Tua and will start Skylar Thompson. Eddie the picks jockey lost his game last night as Cal Baptist lost. Rutgers beat Northwestern last night and C-Lo has some play by play by Jerry Recco. Hour 2:

Carlos Correa was introduced to the media in Minnesota yesterday after finalizing his deal with the Twins. We talked about the reasons the Mets didn’t do a deal with him after the physical. WFAN digital screwed up a Tiki video writing the Giants could go to the ‘AFC Championship’. Spike goes into the studio to defend the digital team. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with audio from the body cam footage of OBJ getting thrown off the plane. Did he take his pants off while on the plane? Are Vikings fans quieter than other fans? Something wacky always happens on Wild Card Weekend. There is always an upset. Which one makes the most sense as an upset? Gio talks about losing his bulldog. He had her for 12 ½ years. Eddie the picks jockey is on the phone to talk about his loss last night. Tonight he’s taking Texas State -2 ½. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Knicks beating the Pacers. In the final segment of the hour, Gio does a dance that he watched on Instagram to arabic music. A woman named Carole calls in to tell us she’s doing well and wants to know how Craig ‘Carson’ is. 

Hour 4:

The Jets have parted ways with Offensive Coordinator Mike LaFleur. They need to find the right guy for Zach Wilson and need to find out if he can play. Gio does his belly dance again as a caller wants to see it on the big screen at the Islanders game. C-Lo returns for his last update of the day. Gio is going to put money against his own team as he thinks the Giants will beat the Vikings. C-Lo has some play by play from Jerry Recco as Rutgers beat Northwestern. Carlos Correa met the media in Minnesota. In the final segment of the show, Michael Kay backtracks and now says he was performing and was not really trying to get a producer fired.
