Hour 4:

WFAN is running new promos about coming here to listen to breaking NY sports news. One of the promos is about George Steinbrenner dying. Spike is in-studio and said Evan gave him the list of ideas for the promos. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with Georgia blowing out TCU in the National Championship game last night. A reporter with Brian Daboll asked if he plans to play the starters this week. Brian Daboll says playoff experience is overrated. Quinnen Williams says pay me or he will sit out OTAs. The Arizona Cardinals are already looking for a Head Coach and GM. In the final segment of the show, more sports tragedy promos from WFAN and the Carlos Correa/Mets situation.

Hour 3:

Eddie the jockey’s pick tonight Ohio University against Ball State. The line has already moved since we started talking about the game with Eddie. Gio is going to bet on the Giants money line against his own team, the Vikings. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Georgia blasting TCU in the National Championship game. Lions’ Jamaal Williams intro on Sunday Night Football was very confusing but has something to do with PokeMon. Mike Tomlin talked about Kenny Pickett and wouldn’t saddle him with the franchise QB tag. In the final segment of the hour, Gio is picking against his team on Sunday, putting his money on the Giants. Anthony Gallo was dumped in the middle of dinner and he ended up paying for the dinner.

Hour 2:

Boomer said his daughter Sydney sends subliminal messages with her Christmas gifts. Evidently she thinks Boomer is fat and wrinkly. Boomer said if you draft a guy as high as Zach Wilson, you have to keep him for at least three years. They have to be patient for another year. Gio said if the Jets are committed to Zach Wilson, they cannot bring Mike White back. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Georgia dominating TCU for the National Championship. Brian Daboll will prepare this week as he does every week. Rob Saleh said their early season success was not a mirage. Quinnen Williams wants a raise from the Jets. Mike McDanile doesn’t know if Tua can play this week. Kyler Murray will have input on the new Head Coach according to the owner. Former Knick Jared Jeffries was on the Price is Right and Jerry has the audio. Will the Knicks be sellers or buyers at the trade deadline? In the final segment of the hour, a jockey calls in to talk about Boomer racing donkeys back in the 1980’s.

Hour 1:

Boomer spent his night watching the Knicks lose to the Bucks. He also checked out the National Championship game where Georgia blasted TCU. Boomer thinks Gio is trying to do the reverse jinx by saying the Giants are going to beat his Vikings. Gio said he is not doing that, he genuinely knows the Vikings will blow it in the playoffs like they always do. Boomer thinks it’s a weird take by a fan to believe your team is going to lose. The Giants didn’t play many starters, but Brian Daboll appreciated the effort of those that played. Davis Webb enjoyed starting at QB. Jalen Hurts felt sore after the game. The Jets lost their last six, but Rob Saleh still believes in his team. The Jets haven’t had a TD in 3 games and have scored only 44 points in their last 5 games. We heard from Nantz & Romo on the Bills opening kickoff return. The Lions beat the Packers in Lambeau keeping Aaron Rodgers out of the playoffs. Quay Walker of the Packers shoved a member of the Lions medical staff. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about how bad the Dallas Cowboys offense looked yesterday. The Jets have been so confused on what they are doing with Zach Wilson and the rest of the QBs on the team. Boomer said pink slips are coming today for coaches around the league. The Jets have been terrible, not scoring a TD in the final 3 weeks. 

Hour 2:

Wild Card Weekend is set and most of these games are toss ups. We play ‘Guess The Spread’ for Wild Card Weekend. Gio is becoming the Vikings’ ‘Sphere of Negativity’ according to Boomer. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Eagles beating the Giants. Davis Webb threw a TD to Kenny Golladay. Saquon Barkley can’t wait to play in Wild Card Weekend. Gio said the difference in coaches between the Giants and Vikings is ‘stark’. Joe Flacco’s son is a huge Tyreek Hill fan and he got to meet him. We heard play by play from Bills radio on the second kickoff return. Dan Campbell is upset that the season is over. ‘Stop playin’ with us, we the Detroit Lions!’ The Cowboys got smoked by the Commanders and Jerry Jones said ‘we get to suck on that all week’. The Nets won again, but they lost Kevin Durant to a knee injury. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Sean McVay possibly leaving the Rams. We also talked about the Jets bringing Zach Wilson back for a third year. Why would Zach Wilson want to be here next year?

Hour 3:

Joe Flacco’s son was at the game wearing a Tyreek Hill Dolphins jersey. Gio can’t believe it. You can’t have your kid wearing the opposing team’s jersey. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the popularity of the NFL as far as TV ratings. Brian Daboll thought the defense played well against the Eagles. Jalen Hurts was hurting badly after the game. Sean McDermott talked about the emotions in the Bills/Patriots game. Gio wonders if the Bills will rest their starters against Miami :). The Lions beat the Packers at Lambeau field to send the Seahawks to the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers said it was a frustrating season with ‘beautiful moments’. Dak talked about his performance against Washington. Brandon Staley talked about why the Chargers played their starters for so long. Brock Purdy said they need to play better even though they had no problem beating the Cardinals. Lovie Smith was fired by Houston. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Chiefs doing a ring around the rosie type play against the Raiders. 

Hour 4:

Brian Daboll was happy with the effort his backups gave yesterday against the Eagles. The Jets lost to the Dolphins 11-6. What a score. The Jets did a ‘pitchy pitchy woo woo’ at the end of the game. The Jets average 11 points over six games. Bill Belichick will be back for his 24th season with the Patriots. Dan Campbell was excited for the Lions’ win last night. Jerry hates the 17 game season and the way the records are uneven. The Nets won again last night but KD suffered a knee injury. In the final segment of the show, Bernie Kosar was fired by Browns radio for betting on the final Browns game of the season. NFL employees are not allowed to bet on the games. Let’s fire Bernie Kosar but give Deshaun Watson the richest contract in NFL history.
