From 'One Giant Step' (subscribe here), hosts Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino break down the Giants' disappointing home loss to the Detroit Lions. This game was a great example of what happens when Big Blue can't stick to their offensive script. Hour 1:

The Jets lost one of their worst played offensive games in team history. And after the game Zach Wilson was asked if he let down the defense and he said ‘no’. Boomer said Wilson’s problem is a mental thing, not physical. Boomer said he looks nervous and overwhelmed. Gio could not believe Mike White wasn’t brought in. Why do the Jets continue to coddle Zach Wilson? Jerry starts with audio from Patriots radio of the game winning punt return TD. Rob Saleh calls the performance ‘dog sh**’. Zach Wilson said it was windy out there. Garrett Wilson was also bothered by the lack of offense. The Giants lost to the Lions and Brian Daboll talked about the turnovers hurting them. The Lions stopped the Giants running game. The Giants also got hit with a ton of injuries. The Cowboys destroyed the Vikings yesterday, 40-3. Nick Sirianni was emotional because he loves Frank Reich. The Chiefs beat the Chargers by 3 on SNF. Kyrie returned and the Nets beat the Grizzlies. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about how unpredictable the NFL has been this year. It’s a week to week league. The Giants have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL. 

Hour 2:

The Jets put on a terrible offensive performance yesterday and it all came down to Zach Wilson’s inability to make plays. This game was important to fans and ownership, to finally be able to beat the Patriots. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Rob Saleh on the loss in New England. Zach Wilson missed a lot of open throws. Zach Wilson said he did not let the defense down. Sauce Gardner said losing that way was like losing in Madden. Dan Campbell said stopping Saquon Barkley was the key. Brian Daboll talked about the turnovers that hurt them. The Cowboys had no problem with the Vikings, beating them 40-3. The Eagles barely beat the Colts, 17-16. The Chiefs beat the Chargers by 3 and Mahomes said they never panicked. Kyrie Irving returned and the Nets won. In the final segment of the hour, we rank the worst NFL losses from yesterday. 

Hour 3:

Boomer said Zach Wilson still has glimpses of doing good things, but then he falls back into terrible plays. Kenny Pickett already looks better than Zach and this is his first year. A caller says it’s hard to root for Zach because he seems like a spoiled rich kid. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Brandon Tierney’s instant reaction video after the Jets loss. Rob Saleh says replacing Zach is ‘the furthest thing from my mind’. Zach Wilson calls the day ‘super frustrating’. Garrett Wilson can’t believe they lost a game where the Patriots offense didn’t score. Brian Daboll talked about turning the ball over three times. The Nets beat the Grizzlies as Kyrie Irving returned. In the final segment of the hour, we look at the early spreads for the Thanksgiving games.
