Boomer & Gio

We started the hour with more calls, with one caller saying he saw Phil Simms at the Giants game but was afraid to go up to him. A caller said Kayvon had another bad game for the Giants.

We ended the hour by taking calls from rightfully frustrated fans of the Jets.

Jerry's back with the sounds of the game sealing interception for the Giants. John HARBAUGH talked about JAMEIS Winston’s performance including his turnovers. JAMEIS said he’s heating up and starting to get better. We heard the sounds of GENO Smith getting sacked in their loss to the Bears. Jerry went around the NFL including the sounds of the Niners beating the Broncos. We heard Jim NANTZ on the call as the Chiefs beat the Raiders. We heard the sounds of the Brewers beating the Padres, to go up 2-0 in the series. The Rangers beat the Mammoth.

They are 3-1 and in first place in the NFC East. Boomer knew that John Harbaugh was going to fix the special teams and he did.

Jerry first update starts with the sounds of the Giants beating the Cardinals. John HARBAUGH said he was praying and the Lord came through. Cam SKATTEBO talked about being underdogs at home be ‘B.S.’ The Jets actually got an interception yesterday. Aaron Glenn was very disappointed after the game. GENO Smith talked about the lack of offense. We heard Kenny Albert on the call as the Cowboys beat the Texans. Cee Dee Lamb had 17 catches, the most all-time in an NFL game.

Boomer called yesterday's game one of the worst performances in Jets history.

The Giants released Odell Beckham Jr. after barely using him for three games. Our hosts react to the news and debate if there was ever any point of reuniting with OBJ in the first place. Plus, Evan and Tiki discuss the team's chances in the NFC East without Jaxson Dart, and if J.J. McCarthy has any chance of pushing Jameis Winston for the starting job. Phil Simms joins Boomer and Gio to talk all things Big Blue, including McCarthy and how he may be used the rest of this season.

The Yankees steamrolled the hated Red Sox in a two-game Wild Card Series sweep, and we have full reactions from all of our hosts, who were pleasantly surprised at how efficient the Yankee lineup was from top to bottom. Plus, debating whether or not Aaron Judge will play in the ALDS, how the Yankees will set up their rotation, and if the Bombers should be favored against the Rays. Meanwhile, Evan and Tiki feel like the Yanks were a little over the top in celebrating a Wild Card Series win, and Boomer and Gio debate which Yankee is likeliest to carry the team and be their new "Mr. October."
