We start with 9/11 remembrance on its 25th anniversary as a caller recalls WFAN on that morning, before Jerry brings updates on the 49ers beating the Rams, featuring Kyle Shanahan on playing before 100,000 fans and Matthew Stafford admitting they didn't play well enough. Next, Aaron Rodgers joins Cam Heyward’s podcast to address teammates who spoke out against him and vent about Trump, Obama, and Biden. Finally, Anthony Volpe delivers a grand slam in a 5-RBI night, and the hour closes with a Giants fan predicting a division win and a huge year for Abdul Carter.

Tonight’s Subway Series kickoff on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 leads off the show, followed by a preview of an ugly-looking Jets-Titans matchup where a New York loss would spell trouble ahead of three tough NFC North games. We touch on Cooper Rush starting for the Falcons. Jerry’s final update brings sounds from the 49ers' win over the Rams, Christian McCaffrey’s story about an Australian haircut, Sean McVay’s perspective on the loss, and Myles Garrett’s statless night. Aaron Rodgers drops wild comments about Shailene Woodley wanting another partner post-engagement and addresses former teammates who spoke out against him. Aaron Boone reflects on the Subway Series and 9/11, Aaron Rodgers, and we close out the week with our NFL Week 1 picks.

It's that time of year again. Here are our NFL picks for this week. Play along and see how you do.

It would be really bad for the Jets to lose this game as they have a tough 3 games after that against NFC north teams.

A Giants fan calls in and thinks they will win the division & Abdul Carter will have a huge year.

A caller checks in about what WFAN was like the morning of 9/11.

Some odd audio from Jerry including an Aussie commenters faux pas, Bill Maher angry when someone was taking a pic during his monologue, and Aaron Rodgers with a message to ESPN: ‘You’re a gutless organization’. We heard the Anthony Volpe grand slam in his return to the big leagues.

Jerry starts with the sounds of the Niners beating the Rams. We heard from Mike Evans who had a TD reception. We heard from Sean McVay after the game. Frank Reich talks about what he expects from a Rob Saleh defense. Aaron Rodgers was on the Cam Heyward podcast and he said he and Shailene Woodley broke up because after getting engaged she said she wanted to have sex with another guy. We heard Anthony Volpe hitting a grand slam in his return to the Yankees.

We pivoted to last night’s game with the Niners beating the Rams. That was an impressive win for the Niners, especially coming off the off-season with Kyle Shanahan’s accident, Jed York’s arrest and having to travel to Australia.

Just a few thoughts from us to start the show on this 25th anniversary.
