The Yankees lost to the Astros in a back and forth game. The Mets beat the Brewers as Francisco Lindor made a great catch and then scored the winning run in the tenth.

Today’s show leads off with Jed York’s solicitation arrest, Todd Monken naming Deshaun Watson the starter in Cleveland, Cal Raleigh’s three-home-run night, and an Uber Eats brawl at Barstool. The focus shifts to Watson’s contract, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Joey Porter Jr., Kwanza Jones’ hyped Padres ownership bid, SiriusXM radio shakeups, and the reality of making it on YouTube. Next, Gio laments making drunk weeknight concert plans, Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco react live to York's arrest, Frank The Tank throws out a first pitch, and Callaway apologizes for a controversial commercial. Finally, a Penn State scandal inspires a debate on running pop-up drug rings, Dan Orlovsky pities Browns fans, Shannon Sharpe claims the Moment of the Day, and Wyndham Clark’s dad caps off the show with a wildly awkward moment.

49ers owner Jed York gets arrested soliciting a prostitute outside an Ohio trailer park, leading off Jerry's first update on John Harbaugh expecting Malik Nabers ready for Week 1 alongside fake audio quotes from the hooker. Then, Todd Monken names Deshaun Watson the starter in Cleveland, Watson admits his emotions got the best of him, Michael Kay doubts he'll live into his 80s, and Cal Raleigh launches three home runs against the Phillies. Finally, an Uber Eats driver pummels a security guard at Barstool, leaving Gio to wonder who in the studio would run and who would step up to fight.

Deshaun Watson is named Cleveland's starting quarterback—a decision Boomer ties directly to his contract—before Jerry's update highlights Minkah Fitzpatrick on the Jets' zero-interception year. Watson insists he thrives on fan energy, Todd Monken claims Deshaun deserves the start, and Mike McCarthy addresses Joey Porter Jr.'s Steelers contract situation. Meanwhile, Kwanza Jones brings wild energy to her bid to buy the Padres, Zack Wheeler endures a rough night against the Mariners, Damon Amendolara gets let go by SiriusXM's Mad Dog channel as his co-host pairs with Steve Torre, and the team wraps up by discussing how much harder it is to make it on YouTube today.

Gio regrets drunk weeknight plans to see Chris Stapleton before early-morning work, leading off Jerry's update with Todd Monken and Deshaun Watson addressing Cleveland's QB decision. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco react live to Jed York’s solicitation arrest, audio catches an Uber Eats driver fighting a security guard at Barstool, and Frank The Tank throws out the White Sox first pitch. Finally, the new Padres ownership debuts with a custom song by Kwanza Jones, and the crew breaks down Callaway and Good Good Golf apologizing for a commercial where a man knocks down a woman.
