Short little update about my Maple Valley show marketing and then some Coffee & Music. Featuring "Almost Yesterday"

Today is the release of my two sea shanties "Whup Jamboree" and "Rollin' Down to Old Maui." It's also time for me to begin promoting another show! I talk strategy for a show I have coming up in Maple Valley at Vintage Vino and Espresso.

Coffee & Music #91 features "Whup Jamboree" and "Rollin' Down to Old Maui"

I bounce all over the place in this podcast. Here's the rundown:

1. My latest cowboy boot video

2. Why I love recording with a small audience

3. A ridiculous Kickstarter campaign

5. Royalty free music blast from the past

6. Coffee & Music #90 (features "Bust Out: Early, John" and "One for My Romeo y Julietas")

Enjoy the randomness!

The two singles for this month are sea chanties and they're dropping on International Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sept 19) but not before they hit the podcast. Hear it here first before anywhere else!

I also talk about sea chanties and censorship throughout the years. Then play a murder of crows Cross Dimensional Email segment and close things out with Coffee and Music #88 featuring "Jack Be Nimble" and "Voices in the Overtones"

Today I talk about using texture in music and how different qualities, whether melodic or percussive, can add to the feeling and imagery of a song.

For the Science of Sound segment, I talk about Thomas Edison's "Spirit Phone" and if he actually was able to succeed in speaking with the dead.

Then in Coffee & Music #87 I play "Catalyst Kiss" and "Viaduct" off of the Gardener Hands album.

So many stories and yet so many movie sequals. We're talking about cool stories that would make great movies.

Yesterday's episode was a lot of work and I realized how much I miss the way I used to podcast on Anchor. Hopefully the app will hold up this time around... Coffee and Music features "This Particular Cult" and "Plastic Jesus"

Hi Everybody! I'm back trying out a new podcast style. I want to share some music I enjoy from people I met and know from my travels around the country. I also talk about what happened this week in music and my new plan for music and continuing to pursue it as a career.
