Welcome to episode thirteen of Bops & Bangers! This week, we talk about new music from Chloe Moriondo, Offspring, GRMLN, Brockhampton and more! We delve into the new Demi Lovato and have a serious conversation about her life (TW: sexual assault) and the music that is clearly helping her heal. Ashley and Kelsey have two WTF moments in music this week, one being a song called, "Pickle". We'll let you sit with that. And we pay tribute to DMX in our music version of FMK and think about how his legacy will live on. RIP DMX. Happy end of March! In this week's episode we round up our favorite March releases and you'll find out which album Kelsey didn't stop listening to and the three albums Ashley couldn't get enough of. We talk new music from the last release Friday of March and it's Beib-licious. We then find out that Kelsey has seen Gogol Bordello about 7 times and Ashley's WTF moment is full of Matthew Mcconaughey. We are in double digits of episodes and frankly, we are pumped. Our main topic of conversation is our favorite movie soundtracks -- from classical scores like Pride & Prejudice to Moulin Rouge and more! Friends, don't go to the mezcal tasting when you've been drinking ALL DAY. Ashley and Kelsey are still recovering from celebrating Ashley's birthday in Cabo, safely! But, we got together and somehow talked about the new music and allllll the Grammy performances. Kelsey became a DaBaby fan and Ashley delved deep on some genealogy. We've reached our 9th episode and we still have our sanity and friendship! We feel a lot better this week and we are CHATTY. Just kidding, but we do talk about this song along with our thoughts on last week's New Music Friday with albums like Arlo Parks, Buzzy Lee and Celeste. We then talk about Sister Rosetta Tharpe and her legendary life as the pioneer of rock 'n' roll. She had a very interesting life, and it's super important to celebrate this woman who receives little to no credit for her accomplishments. Anyways! We then end the show with our favorite version of FMK "The Big Game" Halftime Appearance Edition.
