Pin on your boutonnieres, and tighten your cummerbunds! This episode dropped back in April of 2018 -- before COVID ruined the high school prom. A little romcom, a little tragicomedy as Borah teachers offer a nostalgic look back at their own high school prom nights. Hattie Smith (2018 grad) gives her"Hattie Minute" -- and her two cents -- about student "promposals," and Ms. Hughes offers student listeners some prom etiquette advice. These are Borah voices!

Episode #3 finds the podcast team sliding into the 4th quarter with the slight, exciting twinge of summer break on the horizon. We chat up students standing in line for the Friday Food Trucks; seniors share their graduation plans, the podcast crew introduce themselves. We also reached into the Borah Pridecast archives to retrieve Mr. Rose's Prep Period Cold Call with Mrs. Atkins, and a short excerpt of Rueben's interview with fiction, film criticism and former comedy writer for The Onion, Fran Hoepfner. "Borah Voices" is totally student-produced and hosted, offering a focused look at student life at Borah High School. Episode 27 is this year's first fully student-produced podcast. Senior Co-hosts Carlos and Miles and their bevy of student correspondents report in on the first semester happenings at Borah High School. Well, it's October at Borah (it's October everywhere, probably), and our seniors are starting to get the College itch. Time to start thinking FAFSA, letters of rec requests(we hear plying a certain English teacher with a bottle or two of strawberry milk will greatly improve that recommendation letter!), and making that list of potential schools. In this episode, Ethan chats up Borah's College and Career counselor, Jenni Kimball, and Santiago sits down with the College of Western Idaho's Latinx Student Services Coordinator, Javier Garcia.
