In 2014, Boram Nam was living in New York City when she experienced an extremely difficult postpartum recovery period after her second child was born. Originally from Korea, where postpartum care is a priority, Boram recognized firsthand that postpartum support for moms in the US was and is essentially nonexistent. Over the next several years, Boram and her husband worked together to lay a foundation to make postpartum care essential for women across the United States. In May 2022, Boram Postnatal Retreat was born.
