"This is the future of capital markets. All companies and real estate deals will raise money online in the future." - Scott Purcell
This episode is all about crowdfunding!
Crowdfunding is a new technology that, in my opinion, isn't getting nearly as much attention as it should be. The ability to go straight to the people that support you or your brand to raise capital with no middleman is something that could change everything. In the mean time it is something that you can learn how to use to grow your business and investments.
This week I was joined by Scott Purcell who is the CEO and Founder of FundAmerica. He helps companies with the nuts and bolts of technology-driven fundraising efforts, especially for debt and equity offerings.
Dr. Robert Glover is the author of No More Mr Nice Guy: The Proven Plan for Getting What You Want in Love, Sex and Life. He discovered "The Nice Guy Syndrome" which is a belief system that many men posses which keeps them frustrated and unable to live the life that they want. As a therapist he helps men get out of The Nice Guy Syndrome and offers online material, support groups and conferences that can be found on his website.
During the interview we discuss his book, how he transitioned to location independence, why and how he moved to Puerto Vallarta and the differences in the dating scene between the US and Mexico.
I had the pleasure of speaking to Robert Engels about what he describes as a white economic genocide going on now in South Africa. Robert is an attorney and legal consultant in the region and has seen first hand the damage that has been done. He is part of a group that is trying to spread awareness about the atrocities taking place in South Africa that the media is silent about.
In the past few years many racially motivated left wing policies have been put into place which have caused economic hardships and violence specifically towards the white population. In our discussion we break down these policies and the effects that they have had.
This week I spoke to Stefan Verstappen from www.chinastrategies.com. Through his studies of ancient civilizations he believes that we are entering the "Age of Chaos." We talk about the implications of such a transition.
We also go over some practical self-defense tactics. If we are in fact entering the Age of Chaos thinking about these kinds of things is more important than ever.
We discuss life in Singapore and what it was that made him choose to get citizenship there even though it meant giving up his German one. We go over how he was able to effectively quadruple his income by making this move. He is very positive about many of the policies that Singapore uses and we contrast those with those of most western countries.
We also talk about his precious metals storage company and the precious metals market in general. He has put together what he considers to be the most secure way of storing metals and he explains why. We also go over his thoughts on the future of banking and how precious metals and cryptocurrencies may play a par in the future of banking.
I have been writing for a while about what seems to me to be an
obvious bubble that has been building for years in the college debt
market. Here is one
article from a little over two years ago that I
wrote about the what I saw going on in this market and how you
may be able to profit from where things are going.
This week I revisit this topic with Antony
Davies who is a scholar at the
Mercatus Center at George Mason University and an associate
professor of economics at Dukaine University. He has written
several articles on the college debt bubble like the one that you
can find here.
We go in depth about the cause of the situation that the
universities in the US are in today and how someone thinking of
going to higher education should correctly make that
decision.
This is one of the most informative interviews yet!
It was a pleasure speaking to Jason Hartman as I have been following him quite a while. I remember being very impressed with his videos when I was 18 years old. Now he is 660 podcasts down and the amount of information he has available on jasonhartman.com is incredible.
During the interview we talk in depth about some of the commandments of real estate investing. These are the core rules that, if you follow correctly, will virtually assure that your investments will be successful.
During the interview we also talk about the US economy and whether you should be concerned with it’s sustainability. Jason thinks that it is delusional to fear a crashing dollar and makes a case for why he sees the US as still being the place to be for real estate investing.
Lydia Lee is the Business Creator coach at Screw The Cubicle, web TV host at Screw The Cubicle TV, and podcast host of The Cubicle Crashing Podcast. After leaving her six figure job in Canada years ago in pursuit of a path less conventional, this had led her to now be an advocate for location independency, and meaningful work with purpose.
Now based in Bali, she spends her time teaching people how to quit the jobs that are crushing their souls, discover their hidden talents, and make money doing something they love (and will care about).
Her mission and work has been featured on The Telegraph, Forbes, CNN Philippines, and Elle Canada.
Johnny Mueller is the host of The Expat Files, a podcast where he gives on the ground advice about living and working in Latin America. After over 26 years living and doing business as an expat he has quite a lot of exciting stories that are great to listen to and learn from. He describes what he calls The Gringo Advantage that benefits US expats in Latin countries and the Latin American real estate bubble that he thinks is about to burst.
