It's the end of March, which can only mean one thing...it's the one year anniversary of the Bored This Way podcast! Oh.. and college decisions are coming out. Caroline and Madeline discuss their first hand experiences with college rejections, from how they have dealt with their rejection letters to how COVID-19 has changed their application processes. They also answer questions that every high school senior has imagined, such as "What if I don't get in to college?" and "Why are colleges so annoying?" The duo close out the episode by reminiscing about their favorite childhood books and dissecting what makes a book engaging during their segment "Madeline's Book Nook."

This episode, Caroline and Madeline discuss getting their wisdom teeth out! They dive into painful and funny moments from their experiences, give advice on what foods to eat, and discuss the recovery process. The two also give an update on what's been going on in their lives recently, such as Madeline's 19th birthday, Texas power outages, and returning to campus.

Caroline and Madeline are kicking off 2021 with a featured guest, Robbie Stankard, to discuss their journeys to play sports in college! Robbie, a committed Division I basketball player for Columbia University, and Madeline, a current Division III track and cross country athlete at Tufts University, dive into their starts in their sports, the recruitment process, and their training schedules. The trio also discuss balancing athletics and academics, staying in shape in the off season, and working towards their future goals.

To close out 2020, Caroline and Madeline are reflecting on their positive and negative moments of this year, diving into their goals and resolutions for 2021, and talking about what they're most looking forward to. The two also discuss what songs and podcasts they listened to the most (other than "Bored This Way" of course), as well as their favorite TV shows and movies. They wrap up the episode with Madeline's 2020 list of all time best books she recommends.

Caroline and Madeline are back and they are kicking off their October podcast with Pinktober! The two friends discuss Breast Cancer Awareness month and the importance of donating, supporting, and aiding those with breast cancer. They discuss how the cancer has personally affected them, how you can self examine, and why this cause is so important. Do your part this month by spreading breast cancer awareness.

With the start of school right around the corner and Madeline kicking off freshman year of college, Caroline and Madeline decide to break down everything about prepping and packing for college life. They answer crucial questions such as "What is having a roommate like?" and "How Can I Deal With Homesickness?" The two also tackle what you should and shouldn't pack in your suitcase and how you can deal with freezing cold weather. 

On this episode, Caroline and Madeline are joined by two special guests, Bea and Alicia, both of whom have done extensive work and research to combat climate change. Join the crew as they discuss crucial climate questions, such as greenwashing, eco-friendly fashion, sustainability privilege, and so much more. They also examine some easy ways that you (or your average Joe) can start practicing sustainability, and they close out the episode by discussing changes they would like to see in the near future. 

As the month of June comes to a close, Caroline and Madeline discuss the importance of keeping the Pride momentum going. They explore how to support loved ones who are coming out, ways to back the Pride movement even during quarantine, how to respond to homophobic remarks, and many more crucial topics. Madeline also gives some of her favorite book, TV show, and movie recommendations that have good Queer representation.
