On Good Friday, we reflected on the crucifixion of Jesus and what that means for our redemption today. But the reality of true Christian faith is incomplete without the resurrection of Jesus. Three days after Christ’s death on the cross, he rose again. In this mighty act of sovereign power, Jesus Christ defeated sin and death once and for all, and this victory is available to everyone who believes in Jesus, the risen Savior of humanity. On Easter Sunday, we celebrate this truth of redemption and reconciliation, praising God for all he has done.
