Born In The Mountain

After a bit of a hiatus I'm back with an all new episode of "An Old Revival Meeting."

Celebrating the release of the reissue of the music of Early Upchurch, a great gospel singer from Mount Airy, NC.

Got a "lot less of rock-n-roll" on this week's edition of "An Old Revival Meeting." Wayne Raney, The Delmore Brothers, James King and more. Join me.

Got lots of new records for this week's show. The Hill Brothers and Willie Simmons, West Virginia Night Owls, Bill Carlisle, and of course some classic bluegrass gospel from the Stanley Brothers and more.

New records and a field trip to Bill Monroe's 1969 Bean Blossom Festival, featuring a segment of a Hymn Program with Wade and Julia Mainer on this week's edition.

Another hour of obscure gospel goodness including Robert Sykes, Ira and Charlie Louvin, Blind Alfred Reed, John Reedy, Mississippi John Hurt, and more.

Ivy's birthday good ol' gospel special featuring some new record finds and old favorites.

Wade and Julia Mainer, Doc and Rosa Lee Watson, Charlie and Bill Monroe, McVay and Johnson, and more in this hour of good ol' gospel.

Plain old pure country gospel in this week's edition. It's singing that comes straight from the heart.

Happy Mother's Day! Join me for an hour of good ol' gospel dedicated to the most beloved and oft written about woman in old-time country music.
