Joseph Tomarchio, JR is a seasoned automotive industry executive currently serving as Senior Key Advisor for Auto Champions, an automotive investment group with over $100 million in private funds. From April 2017 to May 2023, he was Special Advisor – Acquisitions for Monro, Inc., a $1.3+ billion publicly traded automotive retailer. During his tenure at Monro, he was involved in over sixty acquisitions, significantly expanding the company's footprint. Previously, he held various executive roles at Monro, including Executive Vice President, where he led tire sourcing, vendor relationships, and store operations, managing over 7,000 employees.
Mr. Tomarchio co-founded Mr. Tire, Inc. in 1970, growing it to twenty-six locations and achieving a leading market share in the Baltimore area. From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Tire operated as a division of Atlantic Automotive, significantly contributing to its growth. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Tire Alliance Groupe (TAG) and the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund (MAIF).
In addition to his automotive career, Mr. Tomarchio is the Managing Partner of Trecastagni Management South, LLC, overseeing various real estate and investment activities. Born and raised in Maryland, he and his wife of 46yrs Mary Anna now reside in Naples, Florida. They have three children and one grandson. Mr. Tomarchio is an avid reader, automotive enthusiast, bicyclist, Ferrari Club of America member, NRA lifetime member, novice numismatist, and history buff.
