We've always been super lucky on this show with great guests but every now and then you meet people who warm your heart and inspire with their passion and contributions to the local music scene.

We had the pleasure of speaking with AA Show promoters Varun and Macca from Your Locals and these boys put their necks, bank accounts and sanity on the line just so young kids have shows to go to.

I was always really lucky as a kid because AA shows were always part of tour packages and would even just get great local bills regularly. So now with the AA scene essentially being dead, it was great to meet these legends and learn more about what they do.

These legends also play in a sick metalcore band called Elara who you should definitely check out and we're gonna bring in the show with their latest track 'Crucible' which rips!

Nightlight are a name you've no doubt seen on a ton of bills as of late and there's a good reason why! The Melbourne alt pop trio have been on a roll releasing a bunch of electronic bangers which have seen them sharing them the stage with everyone from Future Static to Charlotte Sands!

We caught up with Laura and Hayley to discuss their newest single Crushin', learn about their creative process and how their crossover appeal has earned them so much success within the scene.

Tonight I'm joined by Joseph from one of our favourite Melbourne metalcore outfit Inferiority Complex. After playing one of our favourite sets at our YesterdayFest event in 2021, the band went through a period of transition, leading to the addition of Elle McCarney on vocals who brought their already fantastic sound to the next level. The band have since released 5 killer singles, including 3 which form a 3 part narrative!

We talked to Joseph about their newest single White Picket Fences and its companion video, the difficulties in replacing band members and get some insight into the storytelling behind their music.

We chatted to the guys about their experience writing and recording Fractured, how it felt to finally get up on stage together and hear what they have planned for the rest of the year.

After rebranding after COVID, the band dropped four incredible singles showcasing their unique synth driven metalcore sound and also dropped a set of connected narrative music videos.

We spoke to the band about their creative process, filming three music videos in a single day and what they plan to unleash in 2024.
