Back from GAMEX, Tobiichi brings with her Emma Karlholm to help talk about all the things they saw at the expo. Tobiichi and Tommy have a long talk about Tomb Raider and it all ends up another long episode of The Final Battle.

In the third episode of The BD Firesides, Greg and DJ are once again joined by Michael Carey to discuss the Final Fantasy franchise. Memories are stirred up and everyone gets in the mood to replay at least one game in the franchise as it gets both lavished with praise and harshly lambasted.

Guesting with us this week is Kyle Campbell from Rely On Horror who was one of the hosts at this weekend's Scarity Event. We talk a bunch about the event, Resident Evil in general, Shmup games, Id Software, Aliens: Isolation and just a whole bunch of other stuff. It's a long episode, but it's good.

This week on The Final Battle our lovely hosts talk about old games on Steam, the incident with TotalBisquit and Day One: Garry's Incident, games we played longer than other games and a whole lot of Grand Theft Auto V and Quake talk. Zack Furniss gets on in the end to talk a little as well, and then we read out MetaCritic user reviews out loud for our own amusement.

Our hosts are joined by fellow Boss Dungeon writer Michael Carey for discussion about the Tales JRPG franchise. They discuss every game they've played in the series, as well as some of the additional media such as the Tales of Vesperia prequel movie. (Spoilers: Tales of Vesperia is beloved)

Greg went to a event and played the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and gives his impression on games such as Watch_Dogs, Dead Rising 3, RYSE: Son of Rome, Knack and others. We speak about how Grand Theft Auto V suggests that the earlier of the two weekend days happen to just be splendid for fisticuffs and there ends up being a surprisingly detailed yet spoiler-free talk about Disgaea D2. While Tommy gets to speak a good bit about Amiga and Tobiichi gets to gush about Shadow Warrior, the group agrees that they all really just want to party all the time.

(Discussing Old Stuff) is a podcast hosted by Tobiichi Karlsson and Tommy Walkerocious that focuses on computer gaming from the 80's and 90's. This first episode focuses on one of the most influential companies of computer gaming in 90's for both action games and platformers, Id Software.

We talk about how the company was founded and tell our own stories how we were introduced to the company and their various games. We also go through every release they made one by one and talk about the game, what it accomplished and what it failed with. From Dangerous Dave to Rage, the Apple II to iPad and from three Softdisk developers to one of the biggest names in computer gaming.
