What's good Squad. I had a thought about genuine support. With this movement, I am trying to accomplish a network of supportive and active people. When one win, we all win. But why is it so freaking hard????? I was venting about my thoughts pertaining to what it means to network and support? Who is doing the supporting and how? Are businesses supporting businesses? Are those bosses who were once beginners showing new business owners the way? Or do they immediately see competition? Are friends supporting their friends ventures appropriately?
The cycle always go like this: You Get great idea You Become Excited about Start Planning, making purchases and getting ducks in a row Then you Share it with the world...
Annnnnnnnnd people go ghost! Or they start asking a million questions and Making statements of doubt. You start to doubt yourself. They start being bitter and standoff-ish. Or like I said just get ghost..quiet! Silence. Everything happens but support sometimes. Support is highly important. Support from other sister and brother businesses as well as close friends or family could be just the push some need to keep going.
As a business woman, I know the struggle it is to make things pop alone. A network of Businesses supporting businesses could help ease the struggle...to know you're not on the path alone. We see people focused on trying to get the bag but sometimes miss the mark.
Why? What hinders healthy support? People view it as a Competition..always having to be number one Self doubt, Doubting others, Assumptions Jealous
CAN YOU NOTICE THE SIGNS: People Start making Excuses, avoiding you, not acknowledging altogether...even copying. OR Just Too focused on their business to network and support others. Break the cycle and start networking properly and supporting. I think support breeds support.
Friends Real friends and even true business people buy if they can and are interested.
•They Encourage, motivate and most of all share.
•Friends should be walking poster boards. If they aren’t the target, they don’t have to buy but they can promote at the least.
And remember your friends and family ARE NOT YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE. They aren’t obligated to buy. But they are good candidates for the emotional support you need. Boost your morale by hyping your business up to others because they believe in you and what you’re doing. That’s the key! They believe in you and don’t have any ill feelings toward you They want to see you grow!
No competition They offer Advice.
What we’ve learned can help others glow up. Promote each other. And I’d suggest a trial period so that you make sure you vouch for a particular brand This requires networking, communicating and getting to know other hustlers. In a nutshell: Don’t expect everyone to be for you But pay close attention to who is See what they like and want The more you deliver, the more they may help you promote So it’s good to Know your target Most importantly don’t give up on yourself If that vision is clear, you can make it happen. The results are waiting for you at the finish line so get to work.
