Shannon Gomez, L.Ac., has a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is also an intuitive and the founder of REBEL Deck LLC, home of the funny and in-your-face oracle decks. She is happily married to an attorney who makes sure she doesn't write things that will get her sued. You can either find her doing at-home yoga surrounded by three rowdy kids or eating tacos and drinking green tea.

I loved loved LOVED this conversation with Shannon. I am a huge fan of the rebel deck and to hear her process for developing her product from concept to its first prototype, is so inspiring. Building a product based business is not easy, it comes with a lot of doubt and fear around creating a product, putting yourself out there and it usually does require an upfront cost with no guarantee of success.

On Today's episode of the Boss Talk Podcast, I am interviewing Christine Wozz! I had SO much fun talking with her and I am so excited for you to dig into this episode. 

Christine is a fulltime natural light photographer located out of Sarasota Florida,  traveling all over to document, capture, and create moments in time. She started in 2010, taking pictures for a small photography class. Next thing you know, she was winning awards, her work was being hung in museums, colleges and she was even booking weddings while in high school. Shoot after shoot, she fell in love with the joy that came from capturing those memories. 

She has been running her business full time ever since she graduated from Southeastern University in 2017. People always ask her if she has a backup plan and her answer to that question is "NO". She did not want to look back in 20 years and wished she had not walked in fear, but instead, decided to take huge leaps of faith and jump into the photography world feet first.

Photography for Christine is not full of job tasks that need to get done.  She is passionate about this art form in every way. She works with bloggers, brands, and individuals to document a wide variety of things from creating killer content for brands such as Sound Cloud and Free People, all the way to capturing seniors contagious smiles and personalities. She also cannot forget about documenting her couples love stories. 

Christine is an incredibly talented photographer and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of my client's retreats in Siesta Key over the summer of 2018 and we hit it off right away. We discuss the importance of investing in quality brand imagery to grow your business, why building a relationship with a photographer can help you create a consistent brand story and her best advice for your first brand photoshoot.

Noa was raised in a community in Isreal and as early as 20, she left her home and embarked on a journey around the world, which she is still on! At 22 with nothing to her name, she found a home in New York City and after six months of living there, she launched her Jewelry Collection and started selling in designer markets.

At 26, she launched her world known jewelry company Lionette by Noa Sade with her best friend where she operates as the designer and co-creator of the brand. The Lionette collection made headlines and has been worn by many celebrities and influencers around the world such as Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba and many more. It has also been featured in top publications such as Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar, ELLE, Marie Claire, Sports Illustrated and the list goes on.

After 10 years in New York, Noa felt she was ready to throw herself back into the world and on a spontaneous act, moved to Berlin Germany where she found a new source of inspiration and a way of living. As soon as she became a mother in 2017, she decided to make a business out of her greatest passion- Empowering people to become the person they were born to be. She designed her coaching brand Born To Live, in hopes to share what she has learned and her unique approach to life and business.

On today's episode, we dig deeper into Noa's journey into entrepreneurship, the fears she had when leaving her home in Israel in pursuit of something greater, and her best advice for the boss babe looking to go into business with her best friend or family.
