In this session we study some of the basic principles of Faith. We take a step back to understand, why Faith is important and why it’s necessary to understand the principles of Faith. We look at what Faith is, Where Faith comes from, the components of Faith (the word of God), how Faith is demonstrated in action. We then examine the scriptures to look at the practical application of Faith as God demonstrated it in creation. Finally, we look at how this applies to our lives, how we can put our Faith to work, the steps to do it and the results of it. Study scriptures: Hebrews 11:1, Genesis 1:1-4, 5, 6, 14, 26, Number 13, 14, Roman’s 10:8-10, 17, Roman’s 4:16.

In this session, we take a step back to re-examine the scriptures concerning our theme for this series; Faith in God and it’s demonstration. We look at our Faith through believing in Christ, why that is important and why Christ. We then look at what that Faith is, where it comes from and how to put that Faith to work. We also examine Ephesians 6:10-16, Philippians 4:6, Isaiah 53:5, to understand how we know we are ready in Faith to receive of God or how we know we have what God saids we have. We conclude by highlighting the fact that, Faith no matter the measure of it will not express itself without love. The study scriptures include: Genesis 1:1-4, Revelations 12:7-12,17, 1 Thessalonians 5:8, Ephesians 6:10-16, Philippians 4:6, Isaiah 53:4-5, Galatians 5:6

In this teaching session, we study the scriptures to understand how we become the righteousness of God in Christ and how to live in that righteousness everyday. We study the revelation spoken through the Apostle Paul in Romans 4:1-12, concerning Abraham and the righteousness that was credited to him by God because of his Faith and how God gave him circumcision as a command to act on as a sign, a seal or the completeness of his righteousness. We reference James 2:21-24 and 26 to understand that Abraham’s Faith had to be demonstrated in action so that his Faith was made complete in action because James saids later on in the verse 26 that Faith without works is dead. Abraham’s Faith and his actions worked together and his Faith was made complete in action. In the same light, we have been credited with righteousness through our salvation because of our Faith in Christ Jesus (new birth). And God has given us a command to act as a sign, a seal of the righteousness we have received by Faith. And the command which the Lord Jesus gave us according to John 13:34-35 is Love. Again the spirit spoke through John to the church in 1 John 3:14-15; He saids; we know that we have passed from death (spiritual death) to Life (spiritual life/eternal life) because we love each other, he continues and saids, anyone who does not love remains in death. We end the first part of this series on living in our righteousness through love by highlighting the fact and truth that Love is how we demonstrate our Faith for righteousness and without it as John said, our Faith will die and that may lead to our flesh dominating us and condemning us and preventing us from seeing the glory of God.

In this teaching, we take a step back to study the scriptures to understand what is going on here in this Life through the lens of the gospel. We look at Genesis 1:1-3 to understand Gods intent during creation, even the creation of man and the authority that was given to man. We reference Hebrews 2 to discuss how man lost that authority to Satan (darkness) and how Jesus came to restore the authority to man through the gospel. Finally, we tie it back to our theme for the series, “Faith in God and it’s demonstration”, and how to walk in fullness of what has been given us in Christ Jesus.

In these teachings, we examine the word of God to understand two causes of unbelief: Absence of the word of God and Slowness to believe the word of God due to the hardening of the heart, their manifestation and how to overcome these causes of unbelief. We reference the parable of the sower in Mark 4: 2-9 and 16-19, and then we examine the practical application or examples in Luke 24:1-40 to see how these causes of unbelief manifest in our lives and the solution to them. We end with a prayer for all who would open their heart to receive. We pray that this word blesses you. Amen

In this teaching we study the scriptures on how to receive from the Lord Jesus. We start of establishing the fact that, the things of God are established in the spirit for the people of God (1 Corinthians 2:9). And that it is the word of God that translates that which is established by the Grace of God in the spirit for his people into manifestation in the natural (John 1:3), and the word of God is the source of Faith (Romans 10:17). This is why scripture saids, without Faith it’s impossible to receive anything from God (James 2). We then studies Matthew 8:5-13, looking at the encounter the centurion had with the Lord Jesus and how he was able to receive from the Lord. The Lord Jesus said, he is a man with great Faith: so we discussed 5 traits of the centurion action that caused him to receive healing for his servant 1. He knew his source of help was from the Lord Jesus and so he came to him for help. 2. He made known to the Lord what he needed help with 3. He knew that although he was unworthy, yet he could receive, that is he understood that in order to receive from the Lord it’s not based on status or worthiness 4. He believed in the word of God and it’s authority to help him/bring healing to his servant 5. He knew how that authority of the word of God is released in order to receive, that is the spoken word of God. We reference these scriptures in our studies as well: Romans 10:8-10, John 1:3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:14-17, Hebrews 4. We conclude by praying for anyone who needs healing/going through pain or suffering for them to receive from the Lord. We trust that this word blesses you. Amen!!

In this teaching, the Holy Spirit directs us to pivot and look at how to receive that which has been fulfilled through Christ in our lives. From our previous teachings, we understood that the things of God are established in the spirit by the grace of God for the people of God. Why? Because God is spirit and his things are of the spirit. But in order for that which is established in the spirit to become a reality in the natural, it is the word of God that translates it’s out of the spirit into full manifestation in the natural. And the word of God is the source of Faith, This is why it is written in Hebrews 11, that without Faith it’s impossible to please God. James saids, without Faith it’s impossible to receive anything from God. We reference the following scriptures in our studies: 1 Corinthians 2:9 to understand this fact that the things of God are established in the spirit, John 1:3; that it is the word of God that translates out of the spirit into manifestation in the natural. And then we went at length to study the example of the encounter of the centurion with Jesus and how he was able to receive from the Lord: Matthew 8:5-13 and with these scriptural references supporting this study: Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:14-17, Roman’s 10:8-10. We concluded by praying for the sick and anyone who needs help from the Lord Jesus for what he/she is facing.

We touch briefly on why many aren’t healed, we discuss our inheritance in Christ Jesus and then transition to healing to discuss how to walk in the fullness of the promise of healing in Christ Jesus. Finally we study Romans 4:16-20, using Abraham’s example of how he transitioned from hope to Faith in order for the promise of God to become a reality and tie that healing. We conclude by summarizing how to translate the healing fulfilled in Christ Jesus into full manifestation in our lives. We then stand in Faith and pray for the sick. In this session, the spirit allows us to take a step back to bring together all that we have discussed on Faith for healing and how to walk in it. We discuss what we received in the inheritance in Christ Jesus and how to translate it in our lives. We then transition to discuss Faith, tying it to healing and using Romans 4:16-20, Abraham’s example to learn how to transition from hope to Faith in order for the promise of healing to become a reality in our lives. We reference several scriptures that you can study by yourself; John 1:14-15, Roman’s 10:8-10, Ephesians 1:1, 2 Peter 1:3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:14-17, 1Peter 2:24.

In this teaching, we continue the discussion on causes of unbelief and how it manifests in our lives. We draw the understanding from the parable spoken through our Lord Jesus in Mark 4:1-16 and the practical example in Luke 24:1-38. In this session, we discuss the first cause of unbelief which is the Absence of the word of God which leads to unbelief and how it manifests in our lives. We then touch on the second cause of unbelief with the first episode and then we continue on the second cause of unbelief which is slowness to believe the word of God due to hardening of the heart. Since our subject is still healing, we tie it to healing and then conclude this session by praying for the sick to receive the healing fulfilled through our Lord Jesus.
