Meet Boston with Billy & Jenny is an innovative new program helmed by two of New England’s most trusted television personalities, Emmy Award-winners Billy Costa and Jenny Johnson. Airing on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. ET and Sundays at 9:30 p.m. on NESN and streaming on the NESN 360 app, the 30-minute lifestyle program is the first of its kind, showcasing the flavors, history and culture of the city through the lens of 20 talented content creators. The creators have been dubbed “Hubsters” in honor of “the Hub” that is Boston, and the show will follow them through their own beloved city, revealing Boston like you’ve never seen it before.

Boston Pops Artistic Director Dennis Alves shares memories and insights related to Boston Pops seasonal traditions, from the 4th of July Esplanade concert to Tanglewood and the Holiday Pops. Dennis discusses his work with iconic conductors Arthur Fiedler, John Williams and Keith Lockhart.
Dennis Alves is Director of Artistic Planning for the Boston Pops. He oversees all aspects of Pops program planning at Symphony Hall and Tanglewood, private corporate programs and fundraising events, tours, and television and recording projects. Dennis was a professional musician, performing as principal trumpet with the New Japan Philharmonic under Seiji Ozawa, the Boston Ballet Orchestra, and the Harvard Chamber Orchestra. He also performed with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra under Arthur Fiedler, Harry Ellis Dickson, John Williams and Keith Lockhart, and was an extra player with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

House. He was formerly Executive Director of the Bostonian Society and
Assistant Professor of American and Native American History at Wellesley
College. He is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a Ph.D. in American
History from Princeton University.
