Hundreds of teachers and classroom aides in the Boston Public Schools could lose their jobs this fall as the district struggles with budget pressures. School officials say the reductions are being driven by declining enrollment, rising health insurance and labor costs, the end of federal pandemic aid, and lower state education revenue. The Boston Teachers Union says the cuts will hurt students, and Dan talked with union president Eric Berg.
