The East India company is granted unprecedented power by the government of England and soon becomes one of the richest and most powerful forces in the world. They even become the de facto rulers of countries like Bengal which results in millions of deaths.

Seeing the continued support for the East India company from the English parliament some in American colonies fear they may be next. These fears are only increased as England for the first time tries to take an active role in the every day lives of her colonists.
