They know there's some ground to make up, but it seems like they're trying to occupy more of an outsider Lane in this race. Mary Sheffield is also positioning herself as people's champion, as a grassroots progressive candidate who has a anti poverty agenda, and they both have now scheduled town halls throughout the city through September and early October, so we're going to get to hear more from them."
