Joining us this week for our Summer Sermon series is Dr. Douglas Strong, the Paul T. Walls Professor of Wesleyan Studies and the History of Christianity at Seattle Pacific University (SPU). Ordained as a clergyperson (elder) in the UMC and author of five books and numerous articles on Wesleyan/Holiness Christianity, theological education, revivalism, the abolitionist movement and other social reforms, Dr. Strong will share reflections on Genesis 32:22-31.

This week at Bothell Amplified we welcomed back Andrew G. Lang, an educator in the Pacific Northwest, an alumnus of Richard Rohr’s Living School for Action and Contemplation, and author. He will be sharing thoughts on Matthew 13:31-33 and 44-52.

This week at Bothell, we were hosted by an old friend: Reverend Dave Wright! The former Bothell UMC Associate Pastor joins us after many years away while serving as the University Chaplain at the University of Puget Sound since 2006. Reverend Dave preaches to us from Isaiah 55:10-13.
