This week at Bothell, we were joined by Pastor Kristin Joyner as she shares reflections on Psalm 86: 11-17 as part of our Summer 2023 Sermon Series, Becoming Christ in the Community.

This week at Bothell, we were hosted by an old friend: Reverend Dave Wright! The former Bothell UMC Associate Pastor joins us after many years away while serving as the University Chaplain at the University of Puget Sound since 2006. Reverend Dave preaches to us from Isaiah 55:10-13. 

We are joined on this episode of Bothell Amplified by author and educator Andrew G. Lang, an alumnus of Richard Rohr’s Living School for Action and Contemplation. Andrew preaches to us from Romans 7:15-25 and what it means to have the desire to do what is right in the law of God. 

This week on Bothell Amplified we are pleased to be hosted by the Reverend Mark Galang, District Superintendent of the Puget Sound Missional District, which oversees 48 faith communities in the Pacific NW Conference of the United Methodist Church. Reverend Galang preaches from Matthew 10: 40-42 and intrigues us to see how God is renewing us, individually and collectively, during these uncertain times.

This week on Bothell Amplified we are joined by the Reverend Bob Do, Pastor of the new church plant, The Table Seattle, which launched in late 2022. Rev. Do preaches from Psalm 69: 7-18 and asks us to listen in on how God call us to create new communities where everyone can belong. 

This past week on Bothell Amplified we welcome Dr. Jennifer McFarlane Harris, Associate Professor at Seattle Pacific University, where she teaches English and Cultural Studies. Reading from Romans chapter 5:1-8 & 8:14-17, Dr. Harris discusses how we are all called to grow the family of god.
