The awards have been given. Now the gloves come off.  The Bottled Fuchsia crew must create a list of the top 10 games of 16…and kind of agree.

2016 has come and gone, and we generally agreed that it was a phenomenal year for games. The regular Fuchsia podcasters recently got together to give out some personal awards to games that made us feel anything, like laughter, or shame, or gave us hope for the future.

Frog Fractions spoilers ahead! 2016 nearly beat the will to live play games out of us, so this week is a rush to catch up on the great games of 2016. Aaron plays Seasons after Fall, and installs a bunch of other games. Brady plays that hot 2011 title, Path of Exile. Kay plays too many games. Nanners discovers Glittermitten Grove isn’t just a game about fairies in the woods and Jon rides a bird-dog.

While Nanners and Kay are drinking around the world, Aaron, Brady, and Jon discuss the closing of 2016 and somehow still go long. Aaron runs, Jon road trips. Brady falls in love with Doom all over again.

This week in games in awful. Jon plays FFXV aka car push simulator 2016. Nanners plays Dark Souls: Let it Die. Aaron plays an old Star Wars game. Kay plays a worse game than last week. In the news, Playstation Experience was pretty good, Nintendo still makes questionable business choices, but we’ll buy it all anyway.

This week Nanners tries out some ASRM and some AMRS. Kay played World of Warcraft for the corgis. Brady played Dishonored 2. Aaron plays Pokemon, Overcooked and No Man’s Sky. Nanners keeps secret what he played.

This week in games: Brady, Jon, Aaron and Nanners all play Destiny. There’s some Stardew Valley and Everyone’s Gone to the Rapture, but mostly its Destiny. In the news, Persona 5 is delayed, Ninetendo is bad business and we discuss some questionable texture pop-ins in Watchdogs 2.

This has been bottled fuchsia’s last podcast. I’m writing to you now as a fugitive on the run from the angry mob. Fires are burning everywhere, riots are breaking out, the grid has gone down.

Or maybe not, maybe 2016’s not on fire. Yet.

On this episode of Bottled Fuchsia, Nanners gets into the realest VR experience and grows a swan crotch. He also finally got on the Destiny bandwagon for real this time. Aaron plays Pokemon Go instead of having a honeymoon. Kay realizes that 2013 games were pretty good.

On this very special episode of the fuchsiacast: Aaron gets married to Nintendo. Nanners watches his boyhood dreams come true. The rest of the cast really likes Destiny (still).
