Hello and welcome back to Bounce FM with me DJ Chappers! Hope you’re all well and ready for another evening of music and chat.

Tonight I’ve got a good show lined up for you, I’m going to be playing songs that only made it to number 2, songs that never made it to number 1!

Many of these number 2's were kept off the top spot by cracking songs but there are a few that were kept off the top by mediocre songs, but that’s for you to decide!

Welcome to the 30th episode of Bounce FM, its DJ Chappers here and this week I’m having another go at presenting a chart show. So this week I'm going to do a chart from the 60's for the first half and 80s for the second, to be precise the charts will be from the 16th of February 1967 and then the 19th of February 1989. I will be counting down the top 30 from these years all the way through to number 1 of course.

Join me for these two, 1967 and 1989, charts where you can expect to hear music from the likes of The Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Tom Jones and Donovan in the 60s and Marc Almond, Simple Minds, Morrissey and Simply Red in the 80s!

This week I have decided to go for a playlist made up with all music from superhero movies, so Marvel, DC, Transformers, Watchmen and so on. I came up with one half of the playlist and then I consulted DJ JT to choose the other half so thanks for your help mate, we make a great team!

But before you say oh superheroes I bet this is going to have some bad music, the thing with superhero movies is that they are not only great for all the action but they also have jaw droppingly good soundtracks.

With this podcast I aim to break down the misconceptions of superhero films just being for kids, I want to educate you all on the wonderful world of the superhero genre of films and how good their soundtracks are!
