Welcome to Espresso with Coops☕️🎧.
After an autumn of brewing, Season Two is finally here.
This podcast is short, sharp, and made for curious, creative minds. In under 15 minutes, I’ll serve you a shot of wellbeing, stories, insights, and reflections, no fluff.
Every week, we’ll dive into themes like burnout recovery, ADHD, joy guilt, movement, creative courage, and post-traumatic growth.
If you’re seeking clarity, healing, or simply a reset, pour yourself a sip of espresso wisdom, and let’s make space for big shifts.
Episode 8: Boundaries Aren’t Walls, They’re Invitations (To The Right People)
For a long time, I thought boundaries were about keeping people out, drawing lines in the sand and standing guard. But over the years, I’ve realised they’re really about protecting what’s sacred within. And I’ll be honest: even I didn’t see how often I was giving my own boundaries away, offering easy access to my time, energy, and capacity without noticing the cost.
Boundaries aren’t rejection; they’re clarity. They help you stay rooted in what’s true for you, rather than leaking your energy to keep the peace or avoid disappointing someone. In this short-form episode, we explore why setting limits can feel uncomfortable, how to do it kindly, and why saying “no” might be the most loving act — for yourself and for the relationships that matter.
🎶 Musical snack: Clair de Lune – Debussy
(A classical accompaniment to sit with after listening. Not in the episode, just something to stir the soul.)
