Episode 21 takes us to the South of Africa with the Album of the Week, Moyo Wangu by Renegades of Jazz, inspired by music out of Tanzania. Also South-African House by DJ Spoko, rich sampling by Susso out of Gambia and the Ugandan Mugwisa International Xylophone Group. Lush electronica takes us into the jungle, with tracks from Nacho Libre (Jungle Of ufordia/ Shango Records), Yin Jirei (Sonidos de La Jungla / Fertil Discos) and Dengue Dengue Dengue. Amazing new power out of the Paris DJ’s stable, ElectroRumbaiao and a new release on Carnibal Records. But before all that, the usual touch of analog vibes to start: tracks by Willie Lindo and Joe Bataan.
