Rich also surprised us with an #AlexBregman #bobblehead that he will autograph and donate to us to auction off with the proceeds going to the #AstrosFoundation!

We chatted about some baseball topics covering the #LuisArraez trade to the #Marlins for #PabloLopez + prospects. Yikes. Marlins, what're we doing?! Just fielding an entire lineup of 2nd basemen and moving them into different positions?!

Be on the lookout for Shelby giving Rich ALL THE SMOKE! LOL. We'll see if Rich can handle the heat Shelby's bringing! LOL.

Follow Suzy & Shelby on this chaos train of an episode where we weave a bunch of information  and subjects all together and somehow it all makes sense in the end. LOL.

We start off talking about where in the world will #CarlosCorrea FINALLY sign?! Is his ankle plate just going to explode? Does it it need to be replaced? 

We move on to talk about the 11 year, 331 MILLION dollar contract that #RedSox 3rd baseman #RafaelDevers receives. Suzy deep dives into his stats and defines some common baseball terms (OBP, OPS, OPS+, SLG) and we imagine a scenario where Raffy DH's, #JustinTurner to 3rd and CC is SS.

Suzy reveals her love language is NOT shoes/jewelry/purses rather it is BASEBALL MEMORABLIA....specifically an autographed 16x20 of our #King #KyleTucker that her husband gets for her.

We then talk about how much of a NERD Suzy is, and she proves her point by confessing that she is currently compiling a mothereffing SPREADSHEET  (a SPREADSHEET ya'll) complete with starting position players, bench players and which positions they can play, and the entire pitching staff.

Suzy had the opportunity to chat w/ the fantastically amazing ladies of the No Crying In Baseball Podcast - Patti and her cohort, Pottymouth. 

We love a women led baseball podcast, even more so when they highlight organizations like Baseball For All (An organization whose goal is to build gender equity in baseball by providing girls with real opportunities to play, coach, and lead in this sport. On top of it all, they are a support system and a strong community that ensures that no girl or woman in baseball feels alone.) and actual women baseball players such as Olivia Pichardo (the first NCAA Div 1 Baseball player!)

They are also the first podcast that interviewed Dr. Meredith Wills , the astrophysicist that uncovered 2 different baseballs' in play during the 2021 season and the THREE different balls being used (including the "Goldilocks" balls) in the 2022 season.
