Going against the grain of hanging with his friends to practice, grinding his way through HS to play in the band which he found himself with the trombone yet AGAIN. Finding his way through Morgan state University with multiple bands getting fired to rehired as thee only horn player in the band and again given the task of playing the trombone ONCE AGAIN. After college Rufus travels the nation soaking up all the music he can find and also getting the opportunity to play with George Clinton & Parliament alongside other notable artist.
