On this episode of Bourbon & Bordelons, the whole crew is assembled and we break down Queen Sugar's "June 3, 2020" episode. A lot of folks are making a lot of choices in this episode, but more importantly THE RONA TRIED TO TAKE CHARLEY OUT! We break it all down in The Good, The Bad & The 'Rona, give you some Advictions and top it off with a shot of bourbon going to another surprise winner. Take flight!

The crew is all back to discuss the "June 1, 2020" episode of Queen Sugar and what a discussion it is. There's a lot to unpack about what happens with Blue this episode, and we spent a lot of time breaking down our thoughts on that, as some of us are parents and some of us aren't. Panama was on recap duty, Chaunece carried us through The Good, The Bad and The 'Rona, and Janay shepherded us through our Advictions and though the episode was heavy, we ended in what might be deemed pure comedy in terms of who got our shot of bourbon this week. Take flight!

On this special episode of Bourbon & Bordelons, the crew had the chance to chat with Queen Sugar executive producer Paul Garnes and director Cierra Glaudé, who directed the latest episode, "May 27, 2020." We got to ask general questions about the making of the show and got tremendous insight into what it's like putting on a show during COVID from Paul who had to make it all work. And Cierra brought a tremendous energy and told her own directorial backstory and gave us all the info on the characters versus their real life personas. It was an amazing conversation that we couldn't be happier to share with you all!

This week, the crew tackles Queen Sugar's episode titled, "May 27, 2020," which deals with the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police. Janay, Chaunece, Corey and Jibri discuss the various conversations had amongst our friends in St. Joe's, get into The Good, The Bad, and The 'Rona, give some Advictions and give a shot of Bourbon in what was a heavy episode for all.

On this episode of Bourbon & Bordelons, the crew takes flight with a wedding in St. Joe! Darla and RalphAngel have their wedding on the farm and it's a welcome respite from all that's been going on and all that is to come. Janay, Chaunece, Corey and Panama (Jibri took flight on this episode) talk a bit about the vaccine, before getting into Corey's recap and then the Good, the Bad and the 'Rona! We ask the important questions: Is RA a hotep? What is on his playlist? Why is Darlene so messy and is Blue really a genius? All of this and more on Bourbon & Bordelons! Take flight with us!
