Jason Brauner, the founder of Buzzard's Roost Sippin' Whiskeys, talks with Bourbon expert Tom Fischer about Buzzard's Roost Whiskey and Against the Grain Brewery Collaboration. Both based in Louisville, Kentucky, they have united for this project using Indenpdent Stave Company barrels. Sourcing Jaason's favorite selections of Rye whiskey from MGP and transforming it through the magic of the barrel is what makes this whiskey so unique.
For this release, both the Against the Grain's Roosted Chiquen Beer and Buzzard's Roost Roosted Chiquen Brewer's Toast Finished Rye Whiskey have seen the same type of barrel. This allows us to taste the impact of the barrel on both beverages.
